The masses have spoken. You are on your own for trail passes. I'll supply the hot dogs and burgers but I would like someone to bring the club cooker. Any volunteers?

See below which was added to the first post. Please PM me your response rather than adding to this thread.

For dinner on Saturday, I will be bringing enough hot dogs, hamburgers and beans to feed our group. Please sign up to bring a condiment, appetizer, side dish or dessert listed below or let me know what you will be bringing:
1. Chips
2. Potato Salad
3. Cookies
4. Ketchup & Mustand
5. Lettuce, Tomato and Onion
6. Fruit tray
7. Cheese tray
8. Hot Dog and Hamburger Buns

Club cooker, check. My contribution will be propane for the cooker :)

This shopping center has it all! You can gather some $h!+ for a Relic run or loose some $h!+ @ the adjacent "gentle waters" Colonics clinic. (I skipped the later)

Given the incredible turnout for this inaugural event and that we have only reserved one of the three group camping spots, I am somewhat concerned about a lack of space for those trailering their vehicles to the event.

Does anyone know if the Eldorado Outpost allows people to leave their tow rigs and trailers in their gravel parking lot over night or is it for day use only? [Tagging @mtweller ]

Is the center of the circle an area all 3 sites have equal "rights" to? If so that is a fairly sizable space.

Below please find images of the two final versions of the sticker for this inaugural event. These were my two favorites and as I had a hard time choosing between them, I didn't and am ordering 25 of each. Plans are for them to be 4" in height and I hope to provide each registered attendee with their choice of color at the event.

Please join me in thanking Heather Keefer for creating so many great choices for me to choose from and for putting up with my requests and questions.

I think that the space in the middle is a common area, so there will likely be enough room.

Agree.

If the number of "relic" folks is excessive and we're having to cram into a small space it may be necessary for ALL our rigs to go to the center and leave the "campsite" only for tents. (i.e. unload your stuff and then move rig out of the way .... a pain but still a solution for over crowding)

The campsite is the one we use for the big fire and raffle at Logan's Run. It was barricaded last year to prevent vehicles inside the area, so that opens up some extra tent locations but it means that our vehicles will have to be elsewhere. We'll be able to back a lot of them right up to the rail and around the dumpster to keep them close. I also agree that the center section is common space.

I wonder if we'd be just as well off using the 3 (or 4?) grills built into the stone wall inside the campsite since it's just burgers and dogs, instead of lugging the cooker. I think one of them had a wonky height adjuster that we'd be able to rig up. The others were fine back then - I used at least 2 of them on that trip.

This is a good point, I had forgotten about the grills available in site A.

While I wouldn't mind bringing the cooker, it will likely be overkill considering that we're going to have less than 30 total people.

@FJinTegaCay , would you be OK with changing the plan to use the grills at the campsite instead? I would then sign up for another item to bring.

Yes, I am okay with using the grills at the campsite instead. I'm sorry I didn't thinks of that first.

That said, I suppose we now need to have folks sign up for a bag (or bags?) of charcoal (possibly starter fluid)? Can we also get a few folks to volunteer to main the grills and bring spatula and tongs for cooking?

No need to apologize!

I will bring charcoal and starter fluid. I can also man one of the grills!

Hearing the words starter fluid makes me cringe and I can almost taste the fuel on a chicken wing.

Best investment I've ever made in grilling (under $15):

I can bring it if need be.

I'm right there with you my man, I have a chimney at home. If you really want a quality heat though, charcoal goes out the window. Lump coal and chimneys are my jam.

Only problem is that if you're lighting 4 grills you have to have 4 chimneys, or spend at least an hour lighting them all. I've only got one chimney.

Please bring it and I'll try and remember to bring mine as well.

Sounds like we've got enough chimneys between the three of us!!

I'll bring charcoal / lump coal for us to use along with burger buns :D

David,

I have that flat top Camp Chef grill/griddle you hauled to Hurricane Creek last year too. I'd say you could easily cook 15-18 burgers at one time on it. Let me know if you want me to bring it. I'll be in the 60 so there is space. Maybe not as tasty as charcoal but waay more convenient.
