That doesn't look very 1970's to me. :D

Hmmm.... Well it IS 1950's technology so that should count for something, right?

The masses have spoken. You are on your own for trail passes. I'll supply the hot dogs and burgers but I would like someone to bring the club cooker. Any volunteers?

See below which was added to the first post. Please PM me your response rather than adding to this thread.

For dinner on Saturday, I will be bringing enough hot dogs, hamburgers and beans to feed our group. Please sign up to bring a condiment, appetizer, side dish or dessert listed below or let me know what you will be bringing:
1. Chips
2. Potato Salad
3. Cookies
4. Ketchup & Mustand
5. Lettuce, Tomato and Onion
6. Fruit tray
7. Cheese tray
8. Hot Dog and Hamburger Buns

The first post is being updated as people volunteer and items are added. I just realized I had not included FIREWOOD, of all things. Can I please get several volunteers to bring some so we can have a campfire at least on Saturday night?

Really bummed - just realized we are scheduled to furniture shop this same weekend (designer is booked). Bonehead mistake on my part. This reaffirms this run is going to be epic.

I'm having a hard time even comprehending this post.

I hope I misread your post. Surely you won't shop all weekend.

Come for Friday night and leave Saturday in time for your appointment or come later in the day for the Roundup and stay for dinner. You've worked too hard to get Dozer ready to be a no show.

I'd love to, but on top of everything else, the rear main oil leak has suddenly picked up significantly. :bang::bang::bang: This is something I've known needed to be fixed since I put the driveline in, but wanted to enjoy it for a while and do this once I had my shop built. Now my shop has been 86'd for the time being. Soooooo, I guess I'll have to figure that out as well. I'm doomed to wrench on this thing and never actually enjoy it. Should and could have dropped an LS1 in this thing for the same cost or less and probably a lot less time. Woe is me :( Guess I'm not living right.

At any rate, we are going to High Point to furniture shop next weekend, and I brain farted when Emma asked me about the scheduling. We have been putting this off since we moved back in September and we have a designer scheduled to help us with the whole thing. To many things stacked against me I'm afraid. I won't even get into the power steering pump trials and tribulations Ive been going through the last week.

Y'all have fun, and I will hate not experiencing this!

More goodies arrived today - key chains, 55 series belt buckle and plaque.

I included James' business card in case you don't win and want one of his products. I really like my FJ40 buckle. I'm wishing I'd bought a key chain to keep. Father's Day is only a few months away.

@mtweller - We'll you've got to eat dinner somewhere... It's not that far of a drive from HP.

Wow. I actually can't imagine missing a single event if Uwharrie was only 50 miles away. Heck, my daily commute in California was longer than that - and half of it was off-road!

BTW, confirmed that my relics will not be ready for the Relic Run. @psbarger and I will come up in our 80's, ride some trails, and enjoy the event. Will give me a chance to try out the new stuff that Marshall put on (tires, suspension, and winch).

Ramon, I am not really sure about this but this may be grounds for having your Man Card Revoked :)

But then again I drive 1.5 hrs one way to pick up loads of hay for my wife's horses so my card may well be in jeopardy too.
