I don’t know if 25 tickets are enough!
Speaking as one that has had good success in our past raffles....no....it's not enough. lol But thankfully there is a lot of stuff to go around from a lot of wonderful sponsors. You can always buy moar tickets. I'll have plenty to go around.

And a quick note for everyone. Please take some time at some point to stop by some of the sponsors websites, Facebook, Instagram and let then know how much their support is appreciated. If you happen to buy from any of them make sure you mention this event as well. It goes a long way to ensure future support.

First post updated... to include the donation from first-time Carolina Relic Run sponsor, Fred Anderson Toyota as shown below.

I received word earlier today that my post as shown above is grossly inadequate and required immediate updating. I am definitely buying more raffle tickets! I anticipate PayPal is going to investigate us for running a Ponzi scheme or a money laundering operation with all these ticket sales.

Below is the updated list of donations from Fred Anderson Toyota:
  • ARB Elements fridge (the brand new design that's all metal and retails for over $1,200 - see image below)
  • ARB camp chairs
  • ARB tire deflator kits
  • ARB tire patch kits
  • Random straps/recovery gear

One of the many contests at this event has been the "Best Dressed" Award which has been presented to the person whose attire on Saturday was best suited for the model year of their vehicle. Although participants have historically worn their vintage attire while on the trails (generating some great looks from other off-roaders), this year we've decided to host a fashion show after dinner but before the raffle. The winner will be selected by the crowd's cheers.

Below are just a handful of images from the inagural event in hopes of inspiring you. If you have some inspiration pictures of your own (especially one of @Kayaker aka Dean taken last year with his long hair), I encourage you to post them. Note: The first run at the first ever CRR was "The Mustache Dash", hence all the fake mustache being donned. Bonus points are given for the real McCoy when properly trimmed to reflect the fashion of the time.

There will also be an award presented for the Best Overall Vintage Camping Equipment. As shown below, @cruiserjunktion set a high bar the first year. Rumor has it he scoured every garage sale and flea market for 15 miles in every direction in the months leading up to the event.

anyone thinking about going early? I have the week off and thinking about going wednesday ahead of the crowd. Was thinking about going to the range for some pew pew and camping without the crowd for a day

The Florida guys are coming in early. I think tomorrow. They have reserved the spot in group camp in the very back behind the single bathroom. Think they have it for a few days.

We should be in camp in time for dinner tonight. 4 of us heading up from S. FL.

Can anyone purchase raffle tickets? I can only make a quick trip down and back to pick up some parts, so I cant stay for dinner.
