I can't offer an update but did see it in person at CM12. Looks like a solid design with attention to detail.

A few updates.
The 3rd top has made it to it's new owner and now rests on a beautiful JDM HDJ81 1HD-T
Upgrades since prototype include:
-Aluminum continuous hinge for more accurate alignment between lower and lid
-3/16 aluminum lower sides to support freestanding awnings
-upgraded Sunbrella fabric with windows

Aircraft tie down tracks provide a roof rack when needed

I know that exact campsite up towards Montezuma's/Pearl Pass (which I hear is open).

Around 150lbs. Have been told that it's much lighter that previous Eezi Awn rtt set up. Takes about 15min to fully remove by myself. Much easier with 2 people.

Eric showed us a great time in Colorado and was extremely accommodating during the install. That guy loves 80's more than anyone I've met.

2500 miles with her so far and not one regret. Well, other than aluminum ain't cheap! No leaks, no wind noise or vibration and no effects on handling whatsoever.

We wheeled Pearl Pass and Imogene Pass during our stay and didn't even notice the pop-top - even off-camber on some exposed corners.

By deleting the sunroof and adding a solarium, I would peg weight gain at 70 lbs evenly distributed. Lighter than any roof rack - which it is as well.

With the old 1400 Eezi-Awn RTT and load bars - not even a roof rack - weight was pushing 200 lbs on the rear end only. It was scary taking that set-up off camber or wheeling seriously.

There are a few options for getting up there. If you don't want the standing room gained by cutting the roof, you can access through the rear tent door or in a squeeze(all pun intended) you can access through the sunroof. So far everyone has cut the roof out to gain the full benefit. A ladder is no problem. I personally access it 50/50 inside/outside via spare tire step. I probably have 70 nights in mine
