I've said it before, but I'll say it again: this thing is awesome!!! If I wasn't so far into my build I would beg you to make me one for my 4th gen 4Runner. Alas it's not in the stars for me right now. Keep up the great work!

Absolutely Impressive. I wish I could add this to my list of mods but all my traveling now is out of country. It would just never get used :(

I agree - nicely done. My one critique is that there is very little footage of the inside: how do you access the "upper level" from the truck? What is it like on the inside when you are driving down the road?

But strong kudos for marketing the simple appearance and ease of setup.

^2x.

Beautiful 80s camping video but inside footage is critical to the product.

No video of cutting open the roof??

Right around the 1 min 16 sec mark you briefly see the opening looking down into the vehicle. Shortly thereafter you see him climb up into the tent & then sitting with feet hanging.

I too would like to see more of the inside and am eagerly awaiting some interior builds with the Campteq.

Thanks gang. A friend Adam Brooks ktmduke0 - YouTube
put the piece together. we will continue to put out more videos.
Sorry there is no footage of the cutting. It's pretty quick. I'll try to get some pics up that I took.

About the interior access.
After 80+ nights in mine. I have found the the fastest, easiest access is to fold the rear most cushion (mine is 26") up toward the rear of the truck, climb in and put it down. when I hang out inside that 26" cushion is used on the lower bench and I stack the middle of 3 cushions (30") on top of the front cushion (53") that rarely gets moved

2 people inside is fine. 3?, kind of feel like the 3 Stooges... Sleeps 3 fine though

Here is a pic of the proto mounted on a LX without the roof cut and using a ladder for access

The top can be removed and set on the ground as a ground tent for day trips. That is part of the versatility of the top. The top can also support several hundred pounds of load and doubles as a roof rack.
I look forward to being in a area that I can leave my top on the ground near the beach, install 2 yakima bars, loading surfboards, and having a open air 80 to go find "better" surf

Man I just watched the video of this on YouTube. I want one so bad! Hopefully in a few years when I can seriously look at one, the price has come down a bit. Very very awesome!
