No problem. Refer to page 1 of your Campteq FSM. Painter could just pull the rubber seal and put down a line. Just have him paint the exterior. It's all clean lines.

I'm going to go ahead and say that Phil's 80 is the most capable 2WD camper that I've ever seen. Here's Phil traversing Lockhart Basin
Yeah, skilled driver helps too

All white, with black latches would look great.

If you're thinking about taking all apart, have you considered getting it powder coated?

It looks like the unit effects air flow to the rear spoiler. I have no spoiler and hate the dust covering the window.

whatever matches the paint more closely so it flows. I would think gloss....

What is the life expectancy of vinyl wrap, in the valley of the sun? :hhmm:

Good question but they use it on buses and tons of daily service vehicles. Im thinking not be a problem, my 80 is covered most of the time also.

I think the vinyl would work fine and durability should not be a problem but may suffer in the brush. $.02

and textured vinyl may capture dust

Vinyl wrap is fine for a couple of years. After that it starts to break down. I have co-worker who won a Nissan Pathfinder in 2002 as part of a Diamondbacks promotion. It was completely covered with vinyl wrap Diamondback World Series pictures, logos, etc. He didn't remove it and after about three years it started fading. He just lived with it like that. Now it looks like s***, breaking up in places. It is really stuck on there and nearly impossible to remove. If he brings it to work today, I'll see if I can snap a picture.

There's a place that does it on Mountain View around 22nd Ave, just south of the big APS yard.

You might look into the vinyl paint they use to cover mobile home roofs. It's make to adhere to aluminum, is highly durable and has some slight insulating properties. The only downside is you may not be able to spray it.

I found a guy for wrapping the sides only with a gloss white 3M quality product. I dont anything about wrapping what pre-install questions should I ask? The estimated cost for 4 sides on the vehicle is $350, fair?

I must admit the natural look is starting to appeal to me more or maybe Im just getting cheap:hillbilly:

Still researching insulated paint coating for the top, any recommendations?
