Now that I have a fridge in the cruiser:), I love having granola, strawberries, blue berries and yogurt. That's a quick breakfast to get on the trail, or an appetizer if there is time for a second breakfast cooked in the cast iron.

Never forget to boil water and have a French press for coffee!

You've got huevos... or you don't.

when we canoed the Verde and camped there, breakfast was a bagel with salami - both hold well for days without a fridge ;p

Somewhere I learned that raw eggs in contact with anything but the inside of a shell for any duration - even refrigerated - was courting all sorts of nastiness. Of course, some people travel to India and eat street food and live to tell about it (not many, though).

I should add, that unwashed eggs (in OEM egg shells) keep for quite a while, even in warm environments.

Having chickens, I can tell you that until the eggs have been refrigerated they keep for days at whatever temp. We also don't wash them until we use them. Eggs are amazing. Getting them fresh, everyday, from a bunch of cooky critters in my yard is a lot of fun.

Harrow disk can produce some tasty meals...

...OEM shells

We had chickens growing up. Fresh eggs are delicious - we always hoped for a double yolker from the Rhode Island Reds.

We have 1 Rhode Island Red, 3 Barred Rocks and 4 Buff Orpingtons.

This is awesome man!!

Been camping my whole life and never seen the "ziplock omlet"... too cool.

About camping foods, for some reason there is nothing better than homemade chorizo and egg burros to me!!

Its a tradition my pops always brings it for us when camping.

I love this too but chorizo and eggs on a long camping trip means some rough bathroom breaks in the desert.

1.2 million Pacific Islanders can't be wrong!:D SPAM it's whats for breakfast! Shirley's Coffee Shop in Hagåtña, Guam serves the best SPAM Fried Rice with Finadene sauce. Some like it Hot!

Even if you don't like SPAM, you might like Finadene, easy to make and goes great over rice. Then again there's the aforementioned "rough bathroom break" issue to contend with.

Mexico considers it meat and you are no longer allowed to bring it across the border.

The picture is from McDonalds in Hawaii:D Spam cooked in sugar and sandwiched with rice is in every convenience market at the counter for breakfast.
