Man, that looks great! Talk about the decision not to do part time 4wd now?
A few folks in the club said I should do it because there's less stress on the front end. . And I could do burnouts lol 🤦🏽‍♂️ Other than that, there are no real benefits (that I know of). It doesn't help with gas mileage, just puts the load of my heavy LC on the rear.

My LC was mainly a daily driver with the capability of off-roading. Adding the part time kit would of just been ~$1k that I can use elsewhere.

Safe to say don’t try installing this cover with the steering wheel in place?
I can't remember who on the site said, but he said it's possible to do it with the steering wheel on. . I wouldnt recommend it. I had to maneuver the wheel in my hand in multiple directions.

Put the steering wheel back on, and added a red JDM hazard signal.

Cleaned the engine bay and ripped the insulation off the hood. Hopefully clean off all the black adhesive next week. Also need to get in the tight spots with a pressure washer for the hard 26 yrs of dirt and grim from around the world.

A MUD member that retro fitted his headlights suggested I get the M LED 2.0s instead of the D2Ss that everyone usually gets. This is a good and bad suggestion.

With the M LEDs, you have to cut a huge hole in the headlight bowl because it has a cooling fan connected to it. Then you'll have to set them in place with JB weld after aligning them correctly (I haven't got to the JB weld part yet). He didn't know this when suggesting them, he just saw that it was better and newer projector than the D2S.

Here's a sneak peek. Still need to paint, align, and JB weld.

I hope those seal up on the back side because if you do any water crossings, they will fill with water and blow out things.

I've seen a halogen bulb get wet when on and it exploded hard enough to blow out a glass front lens.

I have some sealant and JB weld. Gotta use the JB weld so they stay in the right place while bouncing around.

I have to play Army man this weekend through the next so wanted to get some parts out of the garage.

Finished up the headlights and repainted trim around the headlights and grille. Wish I was able to keep the wrap on the TOYOTA lettering, but need to think of a way to make sure it won't peel off. . I'll figure it out 🤔

Back from a week of training and added the OEM hood rod kit, and Rosen Sun Visors. Won't have a review on them for a while due the the LC being down.
