80 Guy Considering a 100
Greetings--
I've been hanging out in the 80 section for a few years now since buying my '93. I'm strongly considering a 100 as I'd like the better highway manners and safety features (no airbags on my '93). I've read through the FAQ and have gleaned some good info. What is the one thing you wish you would have asked the seller specific to their 100 that may not be listed in the FAQ?
I've found a 2000 relatively close with 90K for $16K. I know the 2000 models went to the 4-pinion up front so I've been focusing on 2000+. Four pages of dealer PM with nothing major to report except for the PS exhaust manifold being replaced several years ago. Timing belt has been replaced. Two-owner and looks very clean from the photos. Sounds like a fair price to me. I would miss my 80 and its little magic dial but I think I'd be able to move on quite rapidly once I got a 100 to play around with.
Thanks,
Mark
