Here is a private owner listed LX470 in VA in my area cheaper with same mileage:
2000 Lexus LX470 SUV 4x4 3rd Row Seats - Excellent Condition!

Another:
Lexus LX 470 2001

Here is a 03 Cruiser in VA:
2003 Toyota Land Cruiser. The Ocean Breeze feels great in this, test drive today

Just a quick search in my area turned these up. Better deals are out there but if you like the one you've found then go for it! I'm not really sure what your question is. Are you set on a LX? I personally prefer the LC's. Good luck!

It's hard to say but it appears to be clean. You need to have it inspected first and foremost. The 90k service is a must but other things need to be checked.
Good luck.

My gut says 15.5k is too much, perhaps I should wait. I kinda dig the funky LX colors....

A local dealer has a 2000 LX, 130k, brand new geolanders, super clean... The bottom line is 15.5k. I told the used car manager if they include a 90k service, I'd pull the trigger.
I sold my wifes car yesterday, she's driving a rental so time is of the essence!!

I paid quite a bit less for a 2000lx with half the miles. You could do better.

Looking for/Buying used 100 series cruisers

West Coast Cruisers Inc. is looking for used 100 series cruisers, mainly in Southern California but we consider them regardless of where they are and regardless of the condition.

So if you know of some or any please let us know.

Cheers,

Michael

I wish you luck. I'm also in San Diego, and it took me forever to find one, let alone a decent one. Seems like there aren't many around here, I don't know.

Just curious, are you guys planning on producing products for the 100?

1998 Land Cruiser

Okay, I found a 1998 Land Cruiser with 130,000 miles, body looks good, no rust. Check engine light is on because of the EGR valve. I'm pretty new to the whole Land Cruiser scene, so I could use some help figuring out a fair price to pay. I have him down to $6200. Is this a good price assuming the 90k service has not been completes?

That's a pretty good deal, even without the 90k. Is everything else in working order? Carfax? Is it locked? I'd pull codes rather than taking his/her word on the EGR.

Blink- Wow, seems they are asking twice that, around here. Seems like a screaming deal...

I think it has the center diff lock but no rear locker. I plan on pulling the codes myself. The guy selling it is an older guy, he has it parked in his airplane hanger. He was originally asking $8500. He is suppose to let me know tomorrow if he will accept the $6200.

Hey all......is there any difference here?

Am in the market for a 1999 100 series and curious if you would prefer a federal vs. a California emission-ed equipt. rig.

Not an expert here, but Land Cruisers have been 50 states since the early 90s. I think the last California trucks were Fj62's, and there the only difference was the addition of an EGR temp sensor and corresponding computer input.

No, planning on cutting them up and selling the used parts to 100 series owners, seems to be a real need for parts, also need the tranny cores.

Cheers,

Michael
