Building a FZJ73 with some of the bits of my 80, along the lines of Carl's, and what these axles in question are being utilized for.

Take the time over the next 16 months to really think exactly what you want.

For THAT project, going to take the time to squirrel away a ton of cash and get the Pig body ready.
Then drop off with moolah and no more a directive than "do something cool".
For THIS project, the aforementioned, seeking much less artistic expression, in a shop that can set the axles and links up.
My concerns, in relation to this thread, are:
1. Track width/axle width.
2. Axle lengths based on above.
3. Parking brake.
4. Hydro assist or dual ram (hydro tie rod.)
