I asked just differentials that question and was told they will not, different offset or something. Then you gotta get custom 32 spline axles ??
A rear from a tundra would make a good chunk for the custom front.
What is a different offset exactly? Nitro bragged all over the Internet when they built their 70 series cruiser that they used a 100 series rear differential in a 80 series rear housing with 32 spline shafts.

Here is the part number for the 32 spline birfield kits, I've seen them on the site but can't find it now.

Hi Jim land,I built this truck about 15 yrs ago with the 40” tires, went as low as l can,but 4:88 would have been ok too....

Make sure to post pics of your axle build. Sounds like its going to be tip top. Has any one compared Toyota OEM cable lockers to electric lockers?

I would use cable lockers in a heartbeat but they are hard to come by around here and lots of $$$
Custom axles from trailgear will take around 4 weeks at this time of year.

1/16” was machined from the knuckle ball tube so it will fit in the axle tube, my friend had made up some pucks and a solid steel rod to make sure the knuckle will be straight for welding, test fix...

After about 4 hrs of taking the front end apart and cutting n grinding, the front spring mounts are off.
Did a shackle reversal when I built the truck(10 or 15 yrs ago),seems like when the front diff droop, the axle move forward a lot and require a long spline driveshaft, and also there’s lots of axle wrap,so this time I’m going to move the shackles to the front hopefully that will reduce axle wrap...

Fixed mount off, going to move then to the rear of the spring n shackles in front

... I hope you're not planning to run the diff upside down like that.

That was for mock-up only
Actually I was going to run it upside down with an arb locker to make it high pinion,I looked at it for many days, there is a top and bottom passageway for oil to go to the front pinion bearing, correct me if I’m wrong, the worst that can happen is a worn out front pinion bearing, but now I’m running annE locker, the motor will be on the short side of the diff and will not work .

Turn the diff upside down and it'll spin backwards. Won't work.

If you want a high pinion diff, buy a high pinion diff.

Yes your right it will turn the opposite way

The worst that would happen would be maximum destruction :grinpimp:

I was going to install the leavesprings upfront and then found some coil overs for sale,I decided to use them and ordered some heims from northwest fab.
For those of you with coil overs on a 40, how long are your front lower arms???
