Quite the difference from the Texas 80 mile an hour limit

One of my trucks was family owned for 40 + years and was in service and driven all those years. Not only the history but here in California, even if they sit in a field they don't rust too bad, if it's been used and not parked, I bet your new 45 is going to be rust free. You will be amazed when you see the floors!! Surprised how good the weather has been on your trip!

I'm thinking the same thing about this truck. It should be nice and dry, another big reason for making this trip.

The weather's been great. I haven't/wanted to stay at a hotel yet.

Although I did stop at Starbucks I haven't been to a restaurant either

Quite the difference from the Texas 80 mile an hour limit

I towed my FJ45 back from CA in 1996, besides the 55 MPH signs they were also signs on the stretch of Interstate 40 between Barstow and Needles that said trucks and vehicles towing trailers stay in the right lane except to pass. This stretch was asphalt that was rutted to match the width of semis trucks/trailers. I was flat towing my FJ45LP-B behind my FJ62 which neither matched the width of the Ruts. This was in January and the asphalt was hard as a rock which made for a interesting to drive to say the least.

That's awesome. A trip to remember!!! Savor the journey.

Very cool !!
Have a safe trip back and post more pics of the ride home.

Now you have your treasure and are on your way home. I remember the time I picked up my 45 and have pics of the trip home, fond memories I will always remember. Be safe and enjoy the ride.

Awesome!

Take your time and stay safe, want to get home in one piece with that treasure.

Agree, keep your eyes on the road in "front" of you not on the rear view mirror to gaze at your new 45, as that could lead to a hypnotic state. :)
