Any ideas? Well it takes finding the Toyota part numbers for the SA version and getting the brackets or making a bracket. I suppose I could make a bracket that fits a standard AISIN alt or even a Delco but it's not something that would sell well at all. At least not well enough to recouped costs and I'm trying hard to not lose money on every product I develope :p

I could see using a second alt as a dedicated welding unit. That would at least be interesting but again, I can't image there would be enough interest in it.

Let me see if I can source an alternator bracket from VZ. I would imagine it would be a simple one per the picture.

For sure the hardware is too long. I sent out a second package of hardware that went separately. Did you get that? Or are the bolts you have in the shorter bolts? Two are 25mm x M8 x 1.25 and the other two are 25mm x M10 x 1.25. Originally I sent out 30mm long hardware. Those are wrong. Please do not use washers on the bracket bolts.
I don't recall getting any extra bolts, I know the m10 are fine but the m8 ones are about 1 3/8 long, about a
1/4" too long or there abouts. I didn't think washers were a good idea and that's why I was thinking about some 1/4" plate steel that I have. The bolts I bought for the compressor were too long, but the spacer may make up that difference if I go that way.

The plate steel is ok but if you would prefer the correct hardware let me know and I'll send it out.

Changed out the one piece dust plug to a two-piece stainless tethered dust cap. Also made up a simple bulkhead mounting bracket for a single quick disconnect coupler. It'll also have the tethered dust cap.

On a side note, I have all the of the components detailed, along with my costs, for the under hood air manifold. I'm considered adding some nifty touches before I work out a price. Soon, very soon.

This bracket setup:
• environmental boot for the Anderson SB50
• bulkhead fitting for 3/8" air hose on the back and air coupler in the front
• stainless steel tethered rubber dust cap
• 1/8" hole is for tether
• 3/8" hole is for a small carabiner to clip into (this is to keep the device side SB50 from falling off and getting damaged
• Custom bracket from stainless
• Powder coated
• Laser etched
• 10ft of 3/8" nylon air hose
• Mounting hardware

Also, for what its worth for those who would still like to get a kit, I've already started production on the next batch and all of the items that have been discussed so far will be on all new production versions. Eliminating problems one at a time.

Couple of things, mainly the York OBA Kits are now back on the site for those that missed out before. The pulleys are with the brown man and the brackets have officially started today!!!

Also, after test fitting everything and finding 7 little nits I finally have a piece I'm happy with. Allow me to introduce the Rear Air Tank Shelf (RATS) :flipoff2:

Features:
• Native mounting on the 80 Series crossmember, second from the rear
• Mounts using existing bolt holes
• Comes with mounting hardware
• Mounting holes for the ARB CKMTA12 Twin Compressor
• Mounting holes for most VIAIR compressors
• Mounting holes for 1.0 and 2.5 Gallon tanks
• Holes for securing tubes, mounting regulators, SB50 Anderson plugs, etc.
• 12gauge rolled steel
• Powder Coated

Anyone know how much current the lockup clutch on the 210 draws? Running my wiring this weekend and I'm not sure if I need a relay or not?

Edit- definitely running a relay, not sure on fuse. 30 amp maybe?

The underhood air manifold I'm just about ready with comes with the fuse and relay and disconnect wiring for the clutch. 25A is what most call for IIRC.

Cool, I'll wait then. I'll just get the switch ready and run a line out through the firewall for now.

The pulleys are at laser etching as of yesterday and the York brackets are half way thru production. Tried hard to get them by Friday but its looking like its going to be next week.

Just got the batch of brackets in and they will go in to be plated first thing in the morning. I am looking to ship out by Fri.

Oh and there are now 14 kits left.
