I have a 95 and am looking to get the soft lines from the caliper to the hard line. No one seems to have the braided ones right now. I found out from cruiserparts that Slee has them on back order w no eta in sight. Wits end and cruiser bros are a no go as well.
anyone know where to source them?

I agree with Jonheld, especially since the braided lines I got form Slee only threaded in half as much as the OEM Hoses. They did work but I was not happy about that.

This is the list of OEM hoses I used.
Order them on line, you should be able to save about 20-30%, over walking into a dealer, unless you have someone who can cut you a deal at your local shop.
I did notice that even the OEM hoses have a couple of 'shorter' ends, where the thread is not as deep, so the 10mm brake hard line does not engage as deeply.

Braided has exactly one advantage over traditional rubber; they will NEVER bubble. Thus no longer qualifying it as a gimmick.
The Godfather has spoken. . Case closed.

But the inner material is just as susceptible to cracking, dry rot, and abrasion as any other. Brake lines are a consumable like any other soft part.

Maybe very early versions of stainless brake lines. Newer lines are Teflon tubing. Teflon doesn’t dry rot and is a lubricant that aids against abrasion.

Teflon is also not affected by UV nor embrittlement and does not allow water to permeate.

ThNks for all the discussion. I appreciate the responses as always Ih8mud is the s***!
You can have them custom made at you local pneumatic/hydraulic specialty shop.
