Prolly be ok........I don't think it would mind removing the oak steering wheel and steps either.

Nice looking 40 BTW.

As a friend recently told me...."it needs a soft top" ;)

I agree it is a nice rig. Quite a lot of that front crossmember was cut out for the Sag PS, you might want to think about having that reinforced....ASAP:eek:

Is it just me, or did the earth swell up and swallow the houses whole....leaving only the top floors visible?

:)

Awesome looking truck!!

Keep posting pics!

Lunyou,

Awesome find! I'm super jealous of your find. When can I come by and see this thing? What are your plans for this 40?

Looks like they mounted the box 3-4 inches too far back.

Nice score

Hey, Come by any time or I can stop by your place sometime.

Plans for it right now are to, leave it like it is and add a top. After that we will see. Still going through a break-in period(for me).

The oak steering wheel is cracked so it is on its way out. The wood steps are growing on me. I figure the first time it gets into a rock or something like that then they will have to go.

And you are right it definatly needs a soft top........how did ya know? ;)

That was one of the big things that I made me balk at buying it......although it didn't stop me as you can see.

I was thinking today how I wanted to reinforce it without it looking stupidly out of place.

The PS is really nice though. I had to pull the trailer back to the PO and the interstate driving was sure nice with PS.

Really nice rig, congrats! Not many options for soft tops though, I'm still trying to decide. Also good to hear how much you like PS. Sounds like a future project for me. Congrats again:)
