Thanks for those thoughts. I'm not locked from the factory and my rig came with two uninstalled ARB's. Because the diffs were going to have to be rebuilt anyway to get the ARB's in, I went ahead and told the shop to put in the 4:88's. If I can scrape together the cash and NLXTACY is still producing the kits, I can either keep the 4:88's or trade with a non-turbo owner for a stock set that has been ARB'ed I guess. Trade offs, trade offs.

Worst case scenario, you can just switch out the ARBs for standard diffs on your own. It isn't that hard to switch out the differential, IMHO. Setting up the ring and pinion is way harder and require some form of witch craftery.

Does the turbo kit offset the need to regear? I ask as it's gonna cost me $2K to regear and that could be applied against the turbo if it mitigates the need. Running 35's.

I already did the 3.11 low range gear and waiting for the turbo to go to 37, that’s having the cake and eat it too!

Quick update:

* BorgWarner notified me this evening that the ten turbos I was supposed to get 2-3 weeks ago are now finally getting shipped out on Monday. They say the order was delayed because they were moving distribution warehousing to Tennessee.
* BorgWarner is also sending me the remaining three turbine housings I’ve been waiting on to complete the first nine.
* BorgWarner has a tentative ship date for the next 9-12 turbos near the first week of September.
* All of the Breeze Coupler clamps have arrived
* I’m waiting on an order of silicone couplers to arrive. They could only fill a small % of my order but they are working on the rest.
* The pipe shop has pushed back the final reducer pipe to EOD Tuesday. So I will then be picking up the J-pipes, the rest of the downpipes and the reducer pipe going to the front cat on Tues/Wed.
* the “test pipe” now won’t start until Wed but that’s not part of the kit and won’t prevent shipping.

Sorry folks. I was intent on shipping to start tomorrow morning but it’s close.

Speed sensor block off plates are done and headed to anodizing.

Will you give some advance notice before you ship a kit to someone? Just wondering because I will most likely need to enlist a buddy to get it safely indoors.

How is it? I may go that route.

Low range gear is awesome! The biggest deterrent for me to go 37 is the need for rear bumper and tire carrier which blocks the rear cargo area that I use a lot. Maybe I'll just run without spare like some and make sure I have tough tires.

I made that note a few posts back. BW shipping remainder of Batch 1 and all of Batch 2 this week. Batch 3 (Group C) is estimated at beginning to mid-sept
Okay. I'm ready to jump in on the intro pricing offer to ensure I'm a part of the 1st Batch. I get that overnighted for tomorrow delivery, right? :smokin:

68 pounds of #Turbo goodness going to the very first customer tomorrow morning. Have the packaging worked out and I think I can blast through these as the turbos land. Someone is going to be very happy tomorrow. They are coming to pick up the turbo and take a look at what I’ve done with my own Test Mule no. 3

Big congrats, Joey, for all the time and effort to get this to the finish line. I hope this doesn't turn into something that takes so much of your time that production past a few batches isn't worth it, cause as soon as my rebuild finishes up and is verified, you have my money. I hope this sku is for Wits' End, what the Land Cruiser is for Toyota, only that you sell more. A first rate product that defines your lineup.
