Do you see any issue with this? The template is butted up against a bolt, not the flat surface of the pan, so your dot will be about 3/4" to the upper left of my current plug. I assume there should be enough slack in the drain line for this?

The answer is likely yes.

Looks like everything is in the right place, even with the few differences with the RHD configuration and the direct ignition differences with the 105s 1FZ. Mostly looks like I’d have to fab up different piping from the air box to the turbo:hmm:

This will definitely be on my short list for the 105:cheers:

Your intake would be easier. You can direct shot it to the turbo inlet.

air filters are over-rated just leave that turbo inlet nice and open

Joey,

Is this because that particular intake doesn't have a removable throttle body or a MAF like ours, thereby allowing for more room?

Additional shipping charge is okay for my order (no, not trying to move up to 1 of the 9 :)). PM me as needed

Same here for shipping. If I am not close enough PM as well...

  1. Do these "first nine" know who they are?
  2. I vote to go with the Korean made hose

HAHAHAHAHHA your timing is spot on. I literally JUST sent out an email to the first batch recipients so yes they know who they are.

For those of us on a non golden ticket list, any idea of an ETA? Few extra weeks, months? Trying to plan a lot of work on the cruiser around this but may need to just do pieces at a time if it doesn't line up. Its my only vehicle now so it has to be a weekend of work and be back running and done at the end. Just trying to avoid ripping apart things multiple times when it could be done once if timed right.

Nah... guess I’m not on the golden nine list neither. Though I did get an email about the next best thing.... an update on my “AARP Members Benefits”!
