No you really don’t want to put the MAF in a bend we already looked at that.

A single custom piece from the air cleaner top straight to a 90 to the inlet, with the MAF in the middle, would be tits.
 
Are you saying take the lid of the air cleaner apart? Create a new custom piece that would have to be welded back into the lid? If so beyond the scope of "bolt on" turbo kit. But yes could be done.

No, MAF in the straight part, before the bend.
 
BTW @DylanICON Im really sorry about ruining your custom exhaust hanger. He served well. But a new OEM one is betterer :p

Bolt-on is way different than cut-to-fit and paint-to-match. Two totally different approaches.
 
Just a thought, since I don't know anything about turbos except that I NEED one, a long time ago there was an Mud-induced OCD scare regarding the oil pressure relief valves. How they were little known and a potential threat, etc. etc. So there are two of these (with associated spring): one on the oil pump and, I believe, one on the oil cooler.

Should this be offered at a California-sized mark up on the Wit's End site or included in the kit???
