I'm sorry if it sounded like I was trashing your thread. I have no doubt it's a great product, and this setup is something I'm very interested in. I was simply caught off guard!
 
To clarify my statement not saying at all they aren't worth the $$, that's a ton of work and research on top of material cost, again well done and thanks for doing it! Another thing to think about is overall cost of a 37" setup. Someone may have said something before, but going with the military wheel/tire setup and these spacers would be cheap for what you get. I'm all over it when I'm able. Not for everyone I'm sure but a great option to have.

No worries, I didn't think you were trashing the thread. I was just explaining the reason for the cost.

Yes, if you actually want to go with 37" tires, or a double beadlock wheel (or both), then this is a great option that will give you an unbeatable great performing setup while still keeping the overall cost down.

I think you guys are reading my post wrong.

This is exactly what I meant. Recentered wheels are not cheaper in the long run. I probably could have typed that a little more clearly. I would definitely purchase spacers before I'd recenter wheels.
 
Minus the OP and his parts, which are very nice, there is a crazy amount of bad information in this thread.

Wow I guess I missed this the first time. The military double beadlocks from militaryoffroadtires.net are $39.95!!!

So you could do 5 double beadlocks (5@$39.95)
your adapters ($749)
16.5" BFG or Goodyear 37" (5@$175)
Total = $1,823

Or

Hutchinson Rockmonster double beadlocks at (5@$420)
17" MTR's 37" (5@$365) tirerack.com
Total = $3,925

Pretty nice savings when you look at it like that!

Yeah man I was just figuring this out. Depends on shipping but 37's are $100 at that other site 100dollarman.com so possibly slightly cheaper
