That is what is recommended by PSC. And for the money i spent it better work!

1.) Making sure the new wheels fit
2,3.) New wheels and tires mounted. It is a good bit wider than it was.

OMG.... I just spent a couple hours (at work) reading this whole thread from top to bottom! You guys ROCK! I laughed my a$$ off at your writings and all of the break downs, and build ups, and break downs, and parts... and parts... and parts... and parts! You just made my night! You boys know how to WHEEL! Keep up the fun and remember... keep the rubber on the rox!

Lol, well glad to have helped.

Hit it hard Saturday for about 14 hours.

Mounted the psc supplied saginaw pump and made the stock pulley work on it by running it backwards and opening it up some to press onto the shaft.

Also got the 1.5" x .250" wall D.O.M. tubing cut and burned in the 7/8" heim joint bungs. Steering ram kinda beat our heads for a while as it is an 8" throw and it seemed to work. Short story is we had to drill an extra hole in my 3/4" thick high steer arm (other was doubled drilled already as i thought i was gonna run cross over and ram assist still) and it was perfect. Full throw of the ram and u-joints were not binding or jumping over each other and a nice steering throw to boot!

Super sick

Looks like it is coming together. That tie rod sure looks spendy :P
Hopefully I can get mine driving by the time yours is back driving. That front axle should hold up for a bit...

Got an update today.
Steering gusseted on one side and tied to stock location for more strength.
Headin there here soon to help out and get some more done.

And of the steering fluid holder thingy majig....

Now really ideal, but the way we had to mount the pump we were sorta screwed without redoing the belt system and what not. Being a remote res and gravity feed to my $$$$ pump and stuff we really needed it as high as possible. And even now it still isnt ideal. Luckily someone else had already cut a hole. ;-) so i just made it larger.

Lol, well good cause i could use the speed. Maybe that fixed 3rd gear!

She still has some things needing addressed, but i have hit the big ones now i feel for the most part. Gonna try and have it ready and go to Tolar this weekend for a shakedown run before Clayton in 2 weeks.

Oh yeah, we flexed the front a little bit yesterday to check the hydro lines and it is pretty impressive I must say.

Got my new steering cooler the other day so hit it hard again till midnight last night and got a lot finished. Front drive line is made and in place, steering is all plumbed and finished up and bled, other knuckle is gusseted and in place, brake lines are run bled and good to go also. So we started it and checked for leaks and clearances!
