Got these today.

Final shackle angle and bump stops and shocks installed. Shackle angle ended up a few degrees from where i wanted, but i honestly think it will be just fine. We had 48* on mock up... but ended with 38* cause we both apparently missed that it wasn't 100% sitting on its own weight... oops... the shackles are 6" long currently. A little longer shackle will change the shackle angle, but will also point the pinion down a little more than I want. I ordered shims to angle it up a little to help when the axle droops out to keep from binding the u-joint

It is getting a ruffstuff cover, this thing is eating my money like crazy right now so I may or may not have one in a month.

Oh yea, the wheelbase has been stretched 5-1/4 inches, so that should put me at about 115 inches on the wheelbase, gonna be great for crawling!

What is the deal on the front spring hanger? Looks like it is sitting there with a tack weld.

It was, wasn't burned in all the way yet.

Can't wait to see it on the ground ... I'll ck on your wheels on Monday

Started getting everything all back together this weekend. I dropped by to check it out and drop some 1.5x.25 DOM off for my tie rod and things.

1.) Got the knuckle on there trying to get it mocked up.

2.) For anyone wondering, stock H1 wheels will not clear on a SRW front axle.

3.) They hit the stock tie rod location.

4.) And wont even touch the lugs.

Put it all together to try and figure out what to do for wheels and get some measurements. It has been clearanced for 15's but not the 4.25" bs wheels i currently run out back. I think a 3" bs will clear but decided on a 2.75" backspace for good measure. I am planning on 42's with recentered H1's, but i just can't do it right now. I already have over $4k in this front axle and haven't ordered my full hydro from PSC yet. (Speaking of, anyone know an adapter for a saginaw onto stock 2f? Or what PSC kit i need? I know it is an 8x2.5" single ended ram.) So gonna make my current tires work.

With the axle width and the wheel width and backspacing i am looking at being 84" wide. Gonna be pretty nice! Axle is 69.5" wheels will be a 15x10 in an 8x6.5 bolt pattern with 2.75" backspacing. I will also be purchasing some DIY Beadlocks so i wont have to worry about loosing a bead when i am beating on it at a bad angle with wheel cut or whatever have ya.

Just got this. Looks kinda cool. I still gotta order my ruffstuff diff cover.

But if you look we are using u-bolts instead of the studs on the inside. Had to drill the housing and run special bolts but it should work great!

Not red by the way.

What is it ??? Looks red... For sure not the same Orange ... You have the hummer wheels now ??? I think I can get you 2in spacers as cheap wheels maybe cheaper ;)

Chevy orange. In person it is without a doubt orange. Just a little darker with red tints.

I don't want spacers for the h1's, i only have 37's to fit em. I could easily buy 2 more and run those but why go smaller after upgrading to tons?

When i buy my 42's i will get some recentered wheels.
