BTW, Betsy is making Blue Marley look like hammered dog**** at the moment. I'm playing with the seat frames and the air cleaner for the snorkel hookup tonight though!!!

Last set of pics are current. I hope to put her up on jack stands soon to put new springs on her! no luck on a grab bar. I think I may just go with CruiserParts or something, I think they are $40 ish which is reasonable...
just had a great couple days at my bros house though. No wrenching, just cool family time and cousins playing together! Discovered a great new gin: Jvine or something like that, bev-mo had it.

Gave my TLC some TLC. Baby steps, but then again I have a baby too!! Did a valve adjustment, checked the timing and idle speed adjustment. Sanded and painted the rear wiper arm (oops, forgot it when I did "everything"). Cleaned up the valve cover while in there...

Alright, I posted up in the tank recall thread that I get take Betsy in Monday for her new tank.

So, I never really posted up what my uses and goals for Betsy are, and figured I should since I want input! Shes pretty much going to be my dd, and weekend camper and wheeler. I'm starting to get into hunting as well, and am planning a family road/camping trip to Utah/Colorado for this fall. I'm looking for some input on my list of things to do: please chime in on what order I should prioritize and suggestions on things to do!
I have most of the parts already to do most of this, just need to do the work!! Also please add to list if things are missing or suggested parts and/or brands...

- cleanup interior and sound deaden, then reinstall interior (it's already out), prob do new stereo wiring also
- set of safari springs and shackle reversal (will need shocks), brake lines too
- Replace dash
- front end rebuild (I have the seal kit) should I do bearings too, kinda think so since I'll be in there, kinda
- front bumper
- finish rear bumper

How she sits now (roof rack is back on tho..)

Finny, are you going for a full dash replacement or just the cap? Yes, I would do everything on the front end since you are already in there. IMO... Keep up the good work bro.

I should have asked, so forgive my ignorance: when you say cap are you referring to the vinyl "pad" that the radio and vents are in or an aftermarket clip on type of overlay?

I'm referring to top part in picture: #62

An overlay cap to put on to hide all the old cracks and tears.. They have a nice appearance and the color match is spot on. It glues on over the factory dash.
