@Elbee Yes, Ben is still producing M29 as I order one 2 weeks ago. To order one send him a private message on mud.

I'm a new 2000 LC owner and just want to publicly express my gratitude to @BenCC for continuing to support newcomers to the world of LC. I purchased Make 19 V3: Fog Light Mount (Diode Dynamics SS3) and it is an outstanding piece of HW and fits both the DD SS3 and the LC perfectly.

Tested the three-switch mount. The rectangular hole is a few millimeters short for three switches. Too bad it cannot be fully recessed.
This is one of the configurations. Planned to have
1. 1V2H (V: Vertical, H: Horozonral)
2. 3V
3. 2V (recessed)
Let me know what you think.
Hi Ben,

Did these ever make production? Thanks!

Make 63: LX470 Foglight Mount

Video (with Baja Designs Squadron Pro):

63.2 Description

The mount is designed to accommodate two Baja Designs Squadron LED pods (Pro, Sport, or SAE variants) on each side. It is suggested to use the Squadron SAE model, as it is specifically engineered to function as a fog light.

63.3 Design and Fabrication

The toughest task is fitting two pods into each side. Attempts to do this in the LC100 fog light pocket were unsuccessful. The LX470 fog light pocket, on the other hand, is broader but not as tall. The initial design positions the two pods horizontally, as illustrated below:

(The pods depicted in the figure are Baja Designs XL80, not Squadron models. They are utilized solely for illustrative purposes. CAD credits for the XL80 go to Peter Scolaro on GRABCAD)

This approach works for the Squadron Pro and Sport models because their lenses can be rotated 90 degrees. However, it is not suitable for the Squadron SAE model:

(https://www.bajadesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/Installation Instructions/FGXX_257811_REVA-INS_001.pdf)

This issue arises because the Squadron SAE was designed using entirely new aspheric projector optics. Thankfully, I managed to redesign the mount to install the pods in the correct orientation:

In the figure referenced above, the mount is designed for the passenger side. The pod that is closer to the center of the vehicle should be installed first, followed by the pod on the outer side.

63.4 Purchase List to Complete the Installation

You will need to acquire two sets of Baja Designs Squadron pods, selecting from the Pro, Sport, or SAE models.
To secure the pods to the mount, utilize the bolts that are included with the pods.
I will supply 6 stainless steel fasteners for attaching the mounts to the bumper.
Note: Blinkers can be wired to side markers.

Turn Signal Kit

63.5 Purchase

$150/pair + USPS Priority.
(Note: Design files are not for sale.)

Hey I’m sure this has been answered. But these wont work for a 98 Landcruiser? Only the LX? I love the 2 look over the 1.

Correct, 2 lights will not fit on the LC as the housing is not as wide.

Anyone had issues getting orders from @BenCC recently?

I placed an order back in December and got an estimate of 4 weeks. Since February he has responded a few times on Insta saying it will ship next week, but still nothing. Not trying to throw him under the bus, but also not trying to get left in the dark.

Hello Ben,

I am interested in ordering the subwoofer cover. How long will the turnaround be? Also it looks like my sub is slightly smaller than the person you made this for. Do you see any reason why this wouldn't work?

Subwoofer Measurments

  • Cut-out Diameter: 5.83"
  • Mounting Depth 3.56"
  • Total Height: 4.00"
  • Outside Diameter: 6.85"
  • Magnet Diameter: 5.53"

Similar scenario but I ordered at the beginning of February. So not as delayed.

My order is running late as well. I asked him about it last week and he said there is a delay in materials. He offered to give me a refund but if I wanted to keep my order it would ship today. So I decided to keep my order since I'm not in a rush. I will let you know how it goes in a week or two.

Ben's got a modified MV-461 in the works for me but I'll patiently get in line. We only started talking about it in February. I'm afraid to ask for some cup holders too - take my moneyyyy great work.

No word from Ben, but I got an automatic email that a package was shipped with an estimated delivery this weekend! Really excited to get everything I ordered. Will post an update once it arrives.

Well…a package arrived but with only 2 of the 5 things I ordered. More than a little unhappy since we are at 14 weeks from original order date.

@BenCC can I get the rest of my stuff? You said it was delayed due to the M42 print in early March, but that wasn’t even included.

Hope everyone else gets there stuff.

Hello.
Very, very nice job.
I need :

-LC200 2013
1 x case for 6 OEM (LC200) switches head/sunglasses (GRAY)
1 x case for 4 OEM switches ashtray (BLACK)

-LC100 2003
2 x case for 6 OEM (LC100) switches head/sunglasses (BEJE)
2 x case for 3/4 OEM switches ashtray (BEJE)
2 x center box organizer (BLACK)
2 x 2nd row cupholder replacement (BEJE)

How can I buy/order them?

I apologize for the delayed orders. I will sort them out. I will refund if I cannot make them in a timely manner.

Ok, although I had to wait a few weeks the product is well worth the time. I work with 3d prints all the time in the office and Ben's quality is amazing as compared to what I see on a day to day. Far from your standard looking print. Also the fit is dead on.

Update: I received my 3D printed mount for my Auxbeam 8 Gang Switch Panel yesterday. Looks good so far. Will try to install in the next week or two.
