I have a bottlepro I used to use in my old truck. Doesn’t work so well with land cruiser cup holders due to the cover. I never really close that so if a new piece required deleting the flap that’d be ok by me. Maybe it could mount flush with the console making the wells larger at the same time?

Will delete the flap. Never liked it.

Hi Ben-can you design a fix for broken tabs on our 100 series vents (see picture). Those little tabs over time break off from heat and use. Maybe you could sell them in a 10 pack just to have on hand for fixing or aging cruisers. I can send you a vent to make a prototype.

Update on the drawer delete/replacement.

I never use the factory drawer/cupholder. The reason is that it is too shallow to hold a drink. When the drawer is retracted, there is almost no space in there for storage. After removing the drawer, I see some space behind there for a small power inverter. Plan is (1) make a versatile face plate that could be configured based on individual need, (2) mount a small (150W-200W) power inverter behind the face plate.

The cupholder design is not completed. I put the prototype to illustrate that the cup holding function can be retained.

Comments please.

Well, I guess I know what I'm getting next!

How’s #15 shifter knob going in the que?
I am laughing while typing this reply. I do these designs not following the order. Sometime I got stuck I just jump to other projects.

I did take apart the shifter knob. The mainbody is plastic with the vinyl/leather cover. There are a couple of small parts in there for the overdrive button. Deepdown I personally don't have the urgent need to replace the factory knob. So I just jumped to other projects lol.

@BenCC .... have an idea about a mod to the overhead Scangauge mount. Mic on one side (already available) aaaaaannnnnnnddddd a mount for a Cat5 plug! I want to mount my GMRS radio (MXT275) in the back of the cab and then run a Cat5 line all they way through the cab, up the A-pillar and into the overhead console where I could have a Cat5 plug. I could quickly plug in the mic when on trails and then unplug it and stow it in the armrest when daily driving. I prefer the mic up high.

MXT275 ---> female to female adapter on Scangauge mount ---> radio mic

Correct?

OK! I will incorporate one RJ45 coupler in the Scangauge mount. You have a Make 1, right?

I don't have it yet. Will place the order tomorrow. I'm ordering the one with the switch blank on either side and adding the mic (Make 27?) to one side. The RJ45 coupler would go in the other "blank"

I wonder if that one side has enough space for 2 RJ45s?

**** me sideway! Wow!

Perhaps 2 ram mounts for 2 cup holders? Tbh I don't really think there is much need for snitches in the back but coffees and water bottles foe the kids. Yes fast charger and inverter outlet is excellent!
