is the ashtray unit different between the early single piece surround verses the later 3 piece style ?

Would it be possible to somehow build a new mount for the cargo area lighting? Maybe something that replaces the current cargo light panel with a new design to house KC Cyclone light or something similar.

I am glad to report that for RHD vehicles the ‘mirror’ version works perfectly.
Finally got around to having truck, part and tools in the same location. Very please with the results !

I am considering trying to utilize the 3rd row ashtray and cup holder to house a 12v outlet (cig. lighter), USB port, Volt meter, and a switch to turn the circuit on/off. Have you or are you willing to spin up some parts to accomplish this via the combination of plugging the cup holder and the ash tray? Ultimately, I'm trying to execute this without having to hack up the rear of the vehicle.

Update on me: Just completed one robotic gripper project. And just completed the journal paper and submitted it. I could not share more at this time. Once the paper gets accepted, I can talk more haha.

I only have the single piece one from my truck. Do yo have the pic of the 3-piece unit?

I have been using this setup. I liked it a lot. I think I can mount these bad boys in the cargo area relacing the original one.

It seems Toyota engineers just perfectly mirrored our trucks.

I’m looking forward to seeing how the Tundra wheels caps you have been posting on IG come out! I’ve got some Tundra wheels and have had to run without wheel caps since putting them on. My wheel spacers stick out a tad with these wheels as well.
