Agreed. I was looking into trying to get some of that magic OEM initial fill brake fluid too. Apparently also not allowed on our shores.

Thank you all for your inputs, I have learned a lot. For my usage, I have determined a larger group 31 battery with an external power station will work best.

post which one you get (deka, interstate, etc). I'm looking to the horizon for when I need a new battery and was leaning heavily towards AGM, but it seems like SLA is better for our alternators from what others have said.

I went with a deka. Seems to be reasonably priced and let’s hope it lasts a while vs the oem I had for the last 3.5 years.
