Very cool! It’s coming along nicely!super slim chances also that a Craigslist ad locally harvests those early needed parts for your truck. Keep the progress rolling !!

Thanks @Blastservices I have not played with the paint much. I want to wait until I can pull it in and out of the garage under its own power so I can wash it properly and not make the garage a mess. Big change from where I was living in the San Joaquin Valley (Bakersfield) now I can actually use my garage in the summer, before in the heat of the valley the garage was unbearable after 11:00 in the morning. Looking forward to this summer!!

That’s called karma. And Dennis definitely has that.😉

That is a very kind thing to say, thank you Mr. Algazy. Although it does seem to ebb and flow at times. LOL !!

Back at it after some health issues. Looking for worm shaft seal for steering box for my 1968 FJ55. Part # 90311-18021. Or a substitute or a cross reference guide. Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

I have not checked with Cruiser outfitters. I did not see steering box repair parts, SOR lists one but not available. It is for 68 -72 FJ55's only. I will measure and take pics but the one I have is pretty hammered. Amayama for overseas?

Discontinued at Amayama. Cruiser Outfitters doesn't have one either.

I will post pics with measurements tomorrow or Thursday depending on work hours. Thanks for the help.

Basic OD of shaft and ID of housing should serve you well at a bearings and drives jobber. I have one here in town that seems to be able to supply me with anything I’ve ever needed.
