Rig's looking good man. Where'd you get the LF lights? How much?

Lightforce lights were bought from my friend. Picked them up for $500 with the harness. I wired it to my JDM fog switch.

Thanks. I really did all the labor myself. A lot of time put into the truck. Honestly this is the longest I've ever owned a vehicle. When I was in Hawaii, I kinda had a short term interest. 1 year was the longest. It's going to be 4 years of owning my LC and I'm loving every bit of it. I'm not half way done. Not the way I want it anyway.

1-yr turnaround ?

the first time I sold a car recently, was 20 years later :meh:

and that was 20 years almost to the date of getting it new - had planed on driving it into the ground, but it just wouldn't die - and then the 80 came along . . .

180K plus miles, hardly any problem ever - I gave a bag of minor spare parts and a complete file of anything that was ever done to it to the buyer - he didn't seem to care

and yeah, the 80 to replace it only had 3000 miles less on it

I've been a BFG fan most my life because of my Dad. My last build on my mini back home(Oahu), my good friend John gave me a set of Goodyear MTRs. It was great on the red dirt and hawn rocks. I fell in love with it. So I bought another set for my Landcruiser build. I only wheeled my rig once on these tires. Mud and rock was good. I was impressed.

As far as Wahiawa, it's kinda a secret spot. Local braddas know how to get there. Don't want DLNR to be sighting da braddas for having a blast.

There's this new place in Sand island that just opened up to test yo rig out. I might be sending my truck back to enter one of the contests at that park. Didn't ask the boss(wife) yet. Mahalos and Aloha.

One of my favorite 80s on here.

Very cool! I got the JDM Wheel carrier here, have had it at home for a year, but too afraid to put it on because I dont think Aus cruisers have the re-inforcement.

Was it a big job to put it on bro?

When you got the carrier, the source didn't give you the reinforcements?

The job itself was pretty easy if your mechanically inclined. The part that was the hardest, was installing the top reinforcement. I had to trim the metal bracket to fit it in. Everything else just follows. My source chopped off the whole section which the carrier bolts up to and is welded to the pillar. So making the exterior holes were on the money. Good luck and Mahalos(thanks you in Hawaiian) for the compliment

Yes I think you do. I don't think it's going to hold the weight of the spare tire. Maybe you could fab some brackets

Busmup808, What is the chances of having you sneak some detail shots of the reinforcement for the spare tire carrier in your rig? Is it behind a lot of the factory interior trim? If so, no worries. I'm sure someone can show us some parts.

Now that I know this factory item exists, I'm very interested in getting one myself, but I would like to see how the factory unit bolts up inside. That way I will know what I would have to make if I was unable to obtain the inside reinforcement portion with the rack.

Talk about my rig inspiring you.... hehehe YOU are making ME want to go out and spend money!!! hehehehe

It's been awhile since I've done anything to my Land Cruiser. I went to go and visit my friends shop and this is what I came home with. As soon as I came home, out came the brushes to clean up the seats. Then as soon as my wife went to college, me and my little boy went inside the garage to install them. Mahalos TOR!

JDM seats with aftermarket headrest monitors?

This is my 4th seat. I 1st had the stock 91 seats. Then I put the 94 cloth seats because it had the lumbar for my lower back. Next was the 97 leather seat that I swapped with my friend Mike because it sits higher than the cloth seats. Finally my a$$ was getting sore because the leather seat was not comfortable, so thats why I switched back to JDM plush seats. These seats are comfortable. Last seats promise.
