Where do I begin... I love this FJ62 and frankly I spared no expense because of sentimental value since it was the exact same make/model/year as the rig that my family owned for 10 years and that started this disease/love for Land Cruisers. That being said, all I can say is that this one is dialed. I never in a million years foresaw all of the small things that would go into bringing something back to OEM+, but I know now and have a full spreadsheet of parts/cost for everything. I know I started with a Southern owned NON-RUSTY good vehicle and made it A LOT better from there.

I enlisted @cruisermatt for the significant upgrade/change with adding the H55f 5-speed because of his experience with that swap and I can attest that it has been done in a very professional no-short-cut way, including custom fabbed parts, and OEM bolts, retainers, screws, boots, etc wherever possible.

The rest of the work was done by 2 local professional shops except for the interior work which was done by my buddy @SkeeLo22 and me because it took like 100 hrs

Really the best place to see where this rig started and where it's at now is in my build thread HERE. I tried to document nearly every step in the process there...

I love the rig, it frequently gets driven as a daily driver and I take it without fear up to our cabin in Western NC. The H55f 5-speed makes it a joy to drive rowing the gear lever. It's got plenty of pep with the manual transmission and since it's still got the original 3FE, being able to downshift on steep grades is very appreciated. The engine was rebuilt under the previous owner's ownership in Mobile, AL with a refurbished head and all OEM parts (he said it took quite some time bc of all of the parts chasing) @ 280K miles but I don't have paperwork for that work. Basically everything else has been replaced or works as it should. The one item that does NOT work, and I really don't have the desire to chase it is the rear driver window, it kinda works, but not like you'd want it to, the motor is fine and I can share all the details I have for the new owner. The rig is SORTED and mechanically excellent condition. The paint has some clear coat fading on the roof and the tops of the doors but it's a 35 year old vehicle and that's how I like my vintage rigs to look. I will say the only real reason I'm selling is because I'm embarking on an FJ40 LS-Swap build (along with 2 non-running FJ40s, a 1st gen Tacoma, a 1981 Ford F-100, and a Tesla Model Y) and I just don't think I drive enough to warrant having thaaaaaat many cars  or so I've been told. Also to note, and I'm equally proud/surprised by this one... doesn't drip a drop of oil or fluids to mark its territory... but if an all-Toyota build is what you're looking for, this one's for you...

I'm giving her a full detail and installing the hood insulator next week, but thought I'd go ahead and post here if anyone is in the market or about to be. I'll get more pictures of the current state then, but pictures in my build thread are recent. I'll have detailed pics including underside next week.

100% agree and I'll get ALLLLL the pics next week (mentioned in the ad). I have a lot in my build thread referenced above so until next week, I was hoping people could peruse that thread in the meantime. Out of town this weekend, planning on giving her a good wash/rinse next week.

anyone with doubts, buy with confidence. I tried to buy this cruiser. it is right...100%. seller is legit and honest..
Thank you!

And a few underneath… and anything that isn't clearly surface rust is just dirt... this rig has been in the South its entire life so rust isn't an issue AT ALL.

Beautiful truck! That interior is on point, one of the nicest I've seen.

Great looking rig- one cheap fix suggestion- re-cable the tops of seat pockets behind the front seats so they don't sag- It costs almost nothing and is easy
I'm on it. I don't sit back there much (ever) but it does look trashy, and probably hugely satisfying once it's done ;)

This is the easy button!
