@Ramathorn15 i saw a post on your website from 8/5 that said a run is coming soon. Any updates?

The goal is to send an email to my newsletter subscribers today letting them know when they go live. The sign up is on the home page of my site.

I'll also try and remember to post it here, but I recommend signing up just to be sure.

Still have a couple 200 series kits ready to go. The 100 series kits all sold in less than 10 minutes. 200 not so much lol.
Interested in a set. They on your website?

I got a pair of the 200’s. I can’t wait. Gonna be sick.

Do you have an idea of when they’ll start shipping out?

I ordered a set on the 10th. No shipping notification yet. I’ve been trying to get a set since winter to keep tar and chips off my new trailer. 5000 miles later, I’m eager to get them on.

You'll love them once you get them on. They do a great job keeping the trailer clean and most importantly cutting down on the rocks hitting it.

Just got my tracking order! Pumped to have them soon. What’s the install like for anyone? Pretty easy?

It’s easy. Removing the tires isn’t necessary but will make the install easier. I think I pulled one front tire and once I had it figured out I didn’t need to pull the others.

So did I **** up? I got my flaps and the parts but quite a few bolts don’t seem to fit in the LX570. Most of the holes are too small for the bolts that were sent. I can use the stock bolts but that doesn’t seem like it’ll hold the flaps then.

If I remove this piece I won’t have enough nuts to tighten the bolts.

The install photos don’t match this at all either. This will easily break off.

I’m so confused why it says it’s LX570 compatible.

Mine arrived, and I put one side on last evening. I'll do the other side today. I ended up using a tap to cut threads in the unthreaded plastic extruded nuts. They are so flexible that they simply pushed out of the way instead of allowing the machine screw to start threading into them. The screws should be self tapping instead of machine screws to make this easier. Or, use pre-threaded nuts.

@Ramathorn15 There is a typo in the instructions. Step 3 says "Starting with the driver side". This should be "Starting with the passenger side".

All in all, a nice addition to help keep stone chips, mud, and road tar off of our new fiberglass trailer.

Hey! Sorry I didn't see this earlier. I responded to your email last night. Hopefully we can figure it out. Not sure about the fronts from your photos, but in the rear, the factory inserts need to be removed and the extruded nuts used.

Thanks for sharing! The extruded nuts have been a pain point for me. The metal ones I used to use started rusting on the earlier 100 series kits. I switched to these plastic ones to prevent that. I found that running the bolt through the nuts first helped make the install easier. I should have put that in the instructions and it just slipped my mind while getting all these kits built and shipped. Sorry!

Hey. Sorry ended up seeing it late last night. Will give it a shot again after lunch. Makes sense about the rear. I’ll send you some more photos of the front and what you suggested in the email and go from there. Report back later!

would someone be able to hop on the phone with me to help. I’m so lost. Nothing fits with this kit and the LX570. Photos don’t match the install.

I’m having to force everything to the point of panels making cracking sounds.

Don't break anything. I'll get with you via emails and we'll figure it out. There may have been a change in the LX that I'm unaware of. I'll email shortly.

I did the driver's side yesterday. Today I did the passenger side. Mine is a 2021 LC, and there must have been some minor changes since whatever model you developed these on. No biggie, but differences from the instructions.

On the attached image from step three, you tell us to remove the plastic inserts. However, on mine, the hole marked in yellow do not have inserts, as these fasteners are the type where you pop out the center pin and pull out the whole fastener. This is the case on the other side, too. So these were easy. The two in red, however, are steel threaded clips, not plastic. And the thread in them is too small to accept the 1/4" screws that are included with the kit. They are easy to remove, but installing the plastic extruded nuts is a different story. The nut side of the plastic extruded nut is too large to fit through the small slot previously occupied by the steel nut. So the back side needs to be snipped larger enough to accept the plastic extruded nut. Again, not a project stopper, but a pain to get any snips in there to open the slot.

All done now. Not difficult, just some minor bits of confusion once I got into it. These will definitely help protect the trailer! Thanks!
