I’ve seen those, Kimberly Kampers have something like that. I’ve debated on making something myself but figured I’d try the Asaps and see how they do. 10/10 glad I got these flaps, but I think having something for the camper would be nice. I have a 12V water pump and hose in my Dissent swing out cabinet that works great to wash off fresh mud but once it dries it’s a PITA. There’s a 2 inch hole in the corner that stabilizers for the camper slide into, it’s perfectly located to catch the mud… I need to come up with a way to keep that for happening.

Thanks for sharing! I see a similar amount of mud when towing my trailer too. Unfortunately, the only way to really get rid of most of it would be to have the flaps long enough to drag the ground which isn't really ideal.

I've considered coming up with a hitch mount solution specifically for towing. Maybe I'll play with some options this summer.

Back when I opened up the pre-order, I didn't realize the holidays was going to cause a small delay on getting parts to me. Everything should be here by the end of the week so I can get them packed up next weekend.

Thanks for sharing! I see a similar amount of mud when towing my trailer too. Unfortunately, the only way to really get rid of most of it would be to have the flaps long enough to drag the ground which isn't really ideal.

I've considered coming up with a hitch mount solution specifically for towing. Maybe I'll play with some options this summer.

Finally had the time to get the fronts installed. I had enough time to piddle around with the brackets and retain the stock flap. It’s super close and may rub a tiny bit close to full lock but at that steep a turn I will be going slow enough to hopefully noticed any accidental removal. One thing to note if you’re having to bend the mounting bracket, it can end up bending enough to make the flap retention screw not engage very well.

All in all I’m happy with the product, my main goal was to cut down on mud and I don’t see how these won’t accomplish that.

Thanks for sharing! Just want to point out, for those that may just see these photos, that these flaps are not intended to be installed over the existing flaps. If I recall, you kept your stock flaps on because your paint protection film doesn't cover the area under the stock flaps.

Not having the stock flap under would provide more tire clearance and prevent needing to bend the bracket more. Also, if the bracket does need bent and the retention bolt isn't hitting, you can remove the bolt and bend the tab down. It will extend further than the head of the bolt did and further prevent an accidental release.

Yes, this is all accurate.

The amount of room lost by retaining the stock flap isn’t very much but in a game of clearance even a 1/4 inch can make a difference.

Place that did mine tried to pull the same bulls*** with me. I demanded they fix it as I wasn't planning to run the front or rear flaps permanently. In the end they did the right thing.

Thankfully, there was no BS pulled in my install. At the time my PPF was applied i had no clue the stock flap covered a painted area and I had no idea I may want to remove them in the future. I had received this already modified new build a few days prior to the wrap so I was new to this vehicle and the 200 series in general.

If anyone purchased a set of these ASAP Flaps, and decided against installing therm, I'd be interested. Especially the rears. I have a new fiberglass travel trailer on order, and these would help prevent damage. I've also PM'd @Ramathorn15 to see if there were any unclaimed pre-orders, but no joy yet.

Sorry I didn't see your PM. I don't have any leftover at the moment, but will hopefully do another run in the near future.

Still on the fence about doing a full production of the 200. The 100 series has sold like hotcakes and I thought the 200 would be even more since these are more expensive trucks. I assumed people would be more anxious to protect them.

I'm not sure if maybe it's because less people are here due to FB groups or if demand just really doesn't exist. I'll keep at it for a bit though so at least the few who have asked can get a set and I can't try to recover some of my prototyping funds.

I received my kit a couple of days ago. It went on really quick, covers REALLY well. We are in a big freeze/thaw cycle right now and it has been really good at keeping the crap off the sides and floorboards.

And a HUGE thank you for having sheet metal parts without razor sharp edges. Makes install much more pleasant.

Definitely. My experience is that because the relatively low cost of entry into the 100 platform, people want cheap barebones things. Like $500 sliders.

My instincts of the 200 group is that because they spent more $$ on the trucks, they are more willing to spend $$ on higher end products as well as things that protect their trucks such as these flaps.

Would love you hear your assessment if you think I've missed the mark.

Where are most of the leads coming from? Maybe a quick one question survey from the 100 series owners who have already made the purchase. Also a big part would be figuring out where most of the 200 series owners hangout online other than ih8mud.

FB Groups... geez, I watched them grow and didn't/don't like the trend. Zuck bugs and sadly, I allow the gram to steel too much of my time.

Yeah. I view mud as the true enthusiast place where you can find fantastic technical info. FB is a place for posting poser shots at the grocery store parking. Seems like they've taken over though.

Thank you for the reply. I'm definitely in the market for a set! The Oliver is a pricey beast, and I want to keep it as chip-free as possible. If you do another order and I haven't added to it, please send me a note. I'm not on here some days and don't want to miss out.

Owlexpedition.com when they're back in stock. Took a long time to sell the first 5 kits but hopefully round 2 will be better.
