Was there just no other place for the exhaust at all? That wouldn't work up here in the rocks.

A few more on the winch.

The exhaust is bigger than i expected. But it hangs even with the frame rails.

I could in theory cover it with a plate, but down here mud usually accumulates in those places. Before you know it you are carrying 1000 pounds of mud on top of the skid plates.

I couldn't run inside the chassis cause of the front driveshaft on the passenger side, and the gas tank on the driver side.

And I wanted to keep the truck Low as possible, so i didn't want to raise the body off the frame any more.

Love the idea of ditching the original tub and fabbing up a new one - took some guts to do that

Decided on a stinger and changing the front winch mount a little.

Cut the corner off.

The shop was busy with some paying customers, but finally got them taken care of.

so back to work. Started on tube fenders.

Let me sum the progress up.

Fuel lines and tank. Done.
Trans cooler and lines. Done.
P/S cooler, lines done.
Hydrobooster and brake lines. Done.
Full hydro steering and lines. Done.
Carb and air filter. Done.
Radiator and hoses. Done.
A/C condenser and hoses. Done.
Rear driveshaft. Done.
Started engine and fix leaks. Done.

Everything else... Not done

Maybe we'll put a crate in it, hook up a shifter and battery and drive it on the parking lot.
