Hey when you get to my house on your trip and that some how falls out of the back and you forget it in my garage, don't worry I will get it back to you sometime in the next 10yrs!

Looks really good DD! A couple of things:
The hinges for the wing compartments, what make and model number if you don't mind, they look pretty stout, and I like how the door doesn't travel up when open at a 90 degree, if this makes sense?
Also, your drawer rollers, make and model number? Also, is this the farthest they slide out? I can't exactly tell, but in the slid out pic I think I can kinda see the back of the drawer, indicating they are at max travel. Just want to make sure...
Thanks!

-Danny
Edit: also like the good use of the mower frame turned back support while your welding apparatus! Patent that! Oh, wait a minute, never mind... I've got something to do real quick

Austin, thanks. I'm excited and we leave after this next post. :steer:

Phil, you're gonna make me lock my rear hatch.

TCD, I don't have those part numbers on me as I'm literally walking out of the door for the start of our road trip. I will find out those part numbers for you or you can get them at Home Depot as I did. The drawers have a 22'' slide on them because my particular HD was out of the 24'' slides. The drawers in the pics were almost at full slide out.
I like that "Back, Neck & Shoulder Saver" as well. Too funny.

I had another busy day trying to get things in order for this trip. Today I took the dash off to fix some lights that were either dim or out. While I was in there I added an XM radio module to my existing stereo. Now I have variety of listening choices while driving. Here are a few pics. I have to go now as I'm being yelled at by :princess::princess:.
Here are a few pics of today's work. Have a great rest of your week y'all.

Have FUN!

Sent from deep in the mountains of Honduras using only sticks and rocks.

I'm JEALOUS! Wanna trade???

No.....ok, well, when you're done working on yours can you come finish mine?

:D

Thanks DD, Home Depot was all I needed to know on the slides and hinges. Have fun!

Me too. I think I'm ready to roll. My truck weighs in at 4700 empty and with all of our camping gear we tipped the scales at a portly 5400 lbs with a 3/4 tank of gas. The truck looks level as well. I think I'm noticing that Cruiser lean (2nd pic). Oh yeah, got to get a little flex pic in there too. :D

DD, this thread is full of WIN. What kind of mileage are you getting?

ElHefe, if I can keep my foot out of it, I'd guess high teens (17-19) maaaaybeee 20 mpg. This thing like to go and I like it to go. I do feel it's much better than I was getting with my 100. I love this thing. HTH

I just got back from my road trip and finally finished the carpet stage. Here are a few pics of the finished product. There are a few things I want to add (2nd battery & interior lights), but here is the current look.

Nicely done, I like to wake up in the car and brought a LC mattress that fits between the wheel arches.
I dont have the boxes, just open the door, get in and sleep

hj60, thank you for that. What mattress size are you using? I have a twin air mattress and I bought two memory foam rectangles that I hope fit in perfectly. I'll keep y'all posted.

The rig is looking great! Nice job.

I wouldn't fix that lean though.

Thanks Wyoming. This is suppose to be my build thread, but I forgot to put that in my title. I wish I could change it, oh well.

About the lean... I tinker with it often to keep it just how you see it. :D

Great cruiser with some nice mods done and on the way. I'll call ya soon.
