This is a very creative use of an old mower!

Daniel, you have an eye for detail. My buddy took the engine out and used it for a project and this is what was left. Very useful for scooting around and there's no strain on my neck and shoulders. :D

Elbert, not a problem. I haven't had any issues in terms of heat. I don't have a digital temp. gauge, but on the stock gauge it looks fine and hasn't risen about the normal hash mark. YES! I love the power of the V-8. I like passing folks when ever it's necessary. :D

I did some cosmetic work this morning before work. I cleaned the vents and primed them, then blacked them out. I put a couple of coats of black on. I like it better, but feel free to tell me what you think.

^^^ I like them, but this kinda stuff is a matter of preference I've found.

Daniel, you are very right about that. I am doing what I like and just sharing. I think the black goes with the overall color scheme better than the worn gray.

Moving to the inside and trying to make a drawer system before the road trip Tuesday. I've looked at quite a few threads trying to get some ideas. I think all of the reading (looking at pics) has finally paid off. Here are a couple pics of the start of Project: Furnishing Grayskull. :D
Test fit and put the slide outs together tomorrow. Paint or carpet as well. Not sure yet which way to go. More pics to come.

I did the same thing on my 60; I think it looks much better that leaving it faded.

ElHefe, I totally agree with you. I'm happy with the decision. Nice 40 in your profile pic.

Here's a few pics from the test fit this morning. Gotta go get more hinges, a couple of brackets and carpet. I'm enjoying this a lot. :p

Had to go back to the drawing board to finish the flaps, drawers and sleeping support.

My plan is to match the carpet that's already in there. It's black or a really dark blue. I'll have to look closer. We leave on our RT tomorrow and I have lots to do. I'm hoping to have time to
carpet or just wait 'til we get back. I'll keep y'all posted. Here is where it will live.

Daniel, I'm trying hard. Thanks man.

This 62 kicks butt. More detail shots of the sleeper system please. When I get another 60-series, this is going to be high on my list of things to do.

ElHefe, here are a more pics. I didn't have time to get it carpeted, so a lame carpet cover will have to do until I get back.
