Forgot to mention, I found a box down by my gate yesterday evening, @cruiseroutfit and crew to the rescue. There was also a kick ass shirt in the mix, along with some good stickers.

About 6 beers into dinner tonight with my wife and some friends I realized that I forgot to pack the passenger side birf full of grease before I jammed it in the knuckle. I did pack the hell outta the knuckle cavity itself, but that was AFTER I had already put the birf in.




We do it nice because we do it twice.

2 more tubes are on the way so I can button up the drivers side.



My only concern is the low temperature rating. I spend a few days below that temp.

Finally finished up.


New brake pads.
New air filter.
Fresh knuckles, wheel bearings, and grease.
New OME steering damper.
OEM halogens are aimed in the right direction.

Fresh spark plugs are on deck, and I need to adjust the knuckle stops, finish some paint on the roof rack, front bumper, and elk slayer grill guard.

I bet the rod vault is back on top before most of that happens.

17,300 miles.

i’m confused. why did the oil sending unit need to come off for a knuckle rebuild. or have you rigged that up somehow to tell you how much grease you’ve got in your knuckles
