Maybe Gun Blue?

It would be against the law in several states.

Dispatched a young deer tonight with the 4Runner. Maybe those furry bastards should look both ways before crossing the road, now I need to assess the damage and determine whether or not I should "upgrade" to a all out deer killer front bumper for the 4Runner. The initial check just turned up damage to the front bumper skin, nothing major. We were thinking about trading it off for another vehicle anyway.

F@#$ it I think I'll drink.

You got lucky. We did the same with a nursing doe many years ago with the 97 Astro. My wife was driving, and my left ear is still ringing. I was asleep, it was dark, and it was on a crooked and hilly road we've driven many times. Did almost 5K in damage as I remember it. Took out the front bumper, grill, right headlight, hood, windshield, and right front fender. The hood, fender and bumper skin I think they were able to salvage. Don't know what happened to the fawn for sure, but the state worker had no interest in the survival of the fawn.

I'm building a Suburban that will have a bumper on it so massive that all that is left of jaywalking Bambi is a ball of Bambi goo.

I'm looking at the Shockworks front deer killer right now, I'm not sure about getting my insurance company involved in this. By the time I pay the deductible and deal with them jacking up rates I may as well just fork the cash myself.

@gator25 I have 2 each of these short ribs if you want them.

Been doing some scuffing again, pulled the covers from the engine this afternoon and blew some dust off. I had my dizzy rebuilt with the carb when I shipped them to Jim. Dizzy is going in tonight.

first coat of primer on the bottom tomorrow after work.

I think I can tackle the bottom of the tub in a week or so, prime, paint, monstaliner. That will get me to the point of being able to put the tub back on the frame and leave it there!

Awesome. Are you sure you aren't getting sick?
