gerard

Actually I just got a note last night that he wants me to sign off on the ones he sent me before sending the others out. I just sent him a note saying they were all good to go and he confirmed shipping starts today.

And yes that is me on Gate 5 Rd...:D

Just got this note in... Anyone in So Cal want to ship to a different address or delay their shipment?

Alex:

We are getting ready to ship the rest of the orders. We notice quite a few going to California. We are afraid that some may be delayed because of the fires. Can you put out an email to see if anyone may be in the affected areas. If so we can hold the order or ship to another address.

We will be shipping tomorrow or Friday.

Regards,

Dennis

I am sorry if people feel this has taken longer than they thought, and I am sorry for saying they may have shipped earlier as I did not realize he wanted me to sign off on the final trimmed version. Had I known how long this was going to take and how much of my time, I might now of embarked on this.

However, I just spoke with LoTek, and they said that all will be shipped by Friday (except 2 listed below) and I have three very real gauge pods in my hands so I am certain they are real. If anyone does not receive one by the end of next week, then there is indeed a problem and they should let me know.

The two being held because of proximity to fire are Don Allen in Claremont and David Slingluff in San Diego. I will send them a note by email too just to check and see if they they can indeed receive packages.

Hey Zander,

I think you have done a heroic job on this project. People just need to have patients. Things take time.

Most people would have thrown up their hands and quit long ago over the amount of work and aggravation involved. And we are talking about a $48 or $56 dollar part, I forget now. I have spent more on one trip to the hardware store to buy spare bolts for the Cruiser.

You are absolutely a MUD Hero!

Thanks for seeing it through!!
