Well, I tried to put it on and it looks like there is going to be a big gap on the top section. I also noticed a crack on the lower hole. I didn't notice it yesterday b/c it was dark and the plastic is black. Make sure to go over it and look for cracks.

I ordered one and am very happy to get one that was not damaged.

I wanted Gray but did not ewant to pay the extra so I just left it at Black.

Black is what I got.

I would PM Zander. The manufacturer probably messed up the order.

WIth ABS and thermoforming, the stock color is black.

Grey and other colors usually require a minimum poundage of 500 lbs for an extrusion run.

Good thing is ABS is very paintable.

Bummer that the paint selections did not seem to come through. Please do contact http://www.gaugepods.com/ and ask them to check their list as I forwarded on all preferences in a XCL spreadsheet. If their is still a discrepancy let me know. They should also be contacted about any damaged products.

I sent them an email yesterday concerning my cracked pod and they promptly responded with:

"Sorry for the problem. We will send another. Was it unpainted black?"

We'll see how this turns out...

Got my replacement yesterday. The pod was sealed in a plastic baggie and shipped in the same type of triangular USPS box. The box looked to be in better shape this time. So two thumbs up for customer service.

well, I am coming to this dance a little late.

I looked at the company web site and it stated that orders were closed.

However, I did notice that some of you might have been buying more than one pod.

I am wondering if anyone that might have bought 2or more has one they would be interested in selling me.

Where are you seeing the "closed order" prompt? I am able to add the gauge pod to my cart and start the checkout process.

I have mine painted and the gauges in place. Wires run to the lights and voltmeter. Still need to hook up the oil and temp gauges plus finish screwing in the pod. I will post some pics of it tomorrow.
