I've been driving our '89 62 for 20yrs with an H42 4-speed.
Makes all the difference! Much better get-up and go. MPH is actually better in local driving.

Ended up finding that and now my big push final day is tomorrow. While I love getting parts (don’t we all) some just hit harder.

I had a shifter boot damaged at the bottom, I found another that had rodent damage at the top, so I cut the respective top and bottom pieces off and overlapped the 2 in the ribs, it worked great! Just FYI.Now I’m looking for the elusive 1987 shifter outer boot…
