91 3FE to 2UZ Swap

AC update to document...

I couldn't ever get the AC to blow ice cubes... it ran cool but never cold...

Problem was the AC pressure switch... the 3fe and 2uz run different switches... so different pressure cutouts...

Had my local hydraulic line guy build me a new AC line with the 2uz switch...

AC is good!

To close this build.... it was finally due for its SAS run....

Here it was loaded and packed to go from Alabama to Ouray CO....

3 Days later we struck Colorado ground...

Then we hit Ouray Trails.... Mineral Creek to Engineer....

Just read this whole thread. Kudos. Lots of time and energy into this build. Makes it easier to see why folks try a turbo/supercharger on their 1fzfe before doing a 2UZ or LS swap. But damn I love the 2uz in my LX. Would love to have a 2uz in my 1993 as well. Thanks for sharing and happy holidays.

I sat on doing this project for years... After seeing Zach slap his 60 together, I realized it wasn't going to be as rough as I imagined... Granted, I agree, it takes the time/energy to complete it. It's a doable project.

Everytime I drive the 80, I regret not doing it sooner...
