Greetings All,

Does anyone know the history behind this FJ62, which looks nicely done/restored/great in photos (don’t they all)—but does list a salvage title in the description.

Thank you for any insights.

Thanks all. Yes, I figured too good to be true.

To be fair the seller was honest and sent a good number of photos of the “restoration” from the wrecked state (front end), with a lot of rusty body panels.

Tons of bondo on the body panels prior to painting.

I'd be very concerned about the dried out and flaking seam sealer that is evident in the photo of the roof...zoom in on the drip edge.

I wouldn't touch that without seeing it in person. That's BaT money for an eBay rig.

36 year old spare tire just chilln waiting to be used as a flat dryrooted spare. And don't need no tailpipe in Florida

I 100% respect the seller’s honesty in these photos he provided. He was very responsive and answered all questions. Not a flood vehicle, frame not rusted out, but a salvage from extensive front end damage (and obvious rust on the body panels).

Amazing what bondo, paint, exterior work, and an interior refresh can do! Quite talented by any standard!

It will be interesting to see what it sells for—as the interior looks nice and the seller said the truck runs well and that everything under hood was replaced (radiator, belts, hoses, alternator, water pump, fluids, etc).
