Skinner, we are waiting on updates, since there are none you better have an excuse!!!

Hello? New pics?

Gonna try and get the body back on the frame this weekend - I leave for Japan again next week & would love to have her back together as much as possible. I'll post more pics later.

I'm guessing being out of the country would be a pretty good excuse. :D

well i was put in my place but I am still wanting and waiting

Foggy, eh ?

Alright, I'm back from Japan & had to get a little done on the FJ60 today (I have 2 side jobs waiting to get in the shop). Here are a couple pics; she's really looking pretty good:

Not sure momma is too happy about this one (especially since her sister is supposed to sleep in that bed Friday . . . ;)):

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families. GOD BLESS!

I really want to stand next to this Cruiser someday and absorb its reality first hand

LOL! I appreciate that! I hope to stand next to it someday and absorb it's reality (the reality of it being completed) too!

If you're ever in Southern Indiana give me a shout!

It will be now that I've seen this project advance al ittle further:)

And you and yours have a wonderful one as well.

I think I just figured out a nickname to suggest finally: The "Skeleton", or "Skinner's Skeleton"? :D

In other words, this..

Needs this to be a sticker in the back window or corners of the two quarter windows club logo style, just throw a wrench in one hand and a paint gun in the other? :D

Oh, and same to you, have a great Thanksgiving...

You Turkey! ;)

Getting Close!!!

Yeah. I'm doing a couple of side jobs this weekend; struts/alt on an odyssey & heater core/blend doors on a grand cherokee. Once those are out of the shop I should be able to gain a lot of ground on the 60 pretty quickly.

Looking kick ass SKINNER.

Question- are you going to be caulking your front fenders and front radiator support sections together like OEM?
I will run into this scenario eventually and was curious as to what other resto folks do.

Looking Great Mr. Skinner!!!! I'll be sure to follow the high road on all the crap I encounter on my 60 the way you did!!

My vote for best quote this year..
It seems like I do more reading than posting on Ih8mud, but I thought I might share a couple photos of my 1984 FJ60. I pulled the body this weekend with plans to complete an overall freshening (hopefully a quick one at that) in time for paint this spring.

6 months isn't too bad of a delay for what's been done, heck most shops couldn't keep that kind of low overage. :D Now go get some bolts and git-crackin!

All hail Sir Skinner.
You are obviously an inspiration to many on here, so keep up the great work. I recently found the thread and am now following it closely.

What's the latest?
