Lookin good Chris! When are you going to Disney?

Thanks.

akirilo has discussed a 28th, 29th trip and believe he's camping. May try for 28th if I can get my hands on sliders, extended breathers, and get drive shafts back in.

I've got an OE TC skid, if you still need, or could use for jig production.

Wish someone would've told me it's an inline 6, not a V, before ordering dual exhaust.

Man Chris, that's one rusty exhaust you've got under there.:flipoff2:

How you like these apples?

Guess mine's not tucked as ordered, but we'll see if any issue before chopping on the stainless, that wasn't.

I usually get your sarcasm but this time I can't tell if you are kidding about the inline 6...

Exhaust looks nice, is it EMS?

Bahahaha.

Yes, I was kidding. Blink and I both ordered simultaneously to save a little on freight.

It's EMS, and the stainless was a surprise, of sorts. High quality welds, for sure.

Lol, ok good.

Love the EMS exhaust, I plan on getting a set up next year if we move to Texas.

Had shafts lengthened, new ujoints installed, and balanced.

Seems to have minimized any driveline vibrations, considerably.

Replaced plugs, wires, rotor and distributor cap this morning and found a crusty stow away.

Big cockroach. Don't see many that large in MO or OK, so wondering if it's the first the covers been off since 57k when moved from Florida.

Plugs were OE spec, which may elude to a dealer service, not the POs local shop. Not in bad shape, though.

No visible signs of oil leaking from the O ring so, for once, decided of it ain't broke, ain't fixing.

Noticed the lower portion of intake was deteriorated, so next order.....if I can talk myself out of the SC.

Some nice looking parts there Chris. You'll have the whole thing recycled in no time:D

So that exhaust is way too nice for mud- I'm sure a couple of trips to the field it will dull down a bit- in the mean time it will double as camping mirror:p

Hahaha. The proverbial Ship of Theseus......once again.

It's an inspection mirror for cleaning the last five to six years worth of axle juice off the bottom.

While you're here.

Have a chance to SC. What say you?

Not graceful? Poetry in motion :).

How did the arms and coils go? Bet those shocks let you down alot.

Was a good day for wheeling. Had to get some more work done today, so I missed ya'll there but hopefully next month we can all meet up.

How did those radius arms work out?

Sent from my C771 using IH8MUD

Wait until you see the video.

Was relatively conservative, considering not fully armored (no sliders) but went well.

Yeah, the shocks leave a lot to be desired. Not sure the negative travel implications, but hope to get it all figured out it the coming week to order replacements from.

Rough, on and off road. Topped them out a few times, so know there's more the coils and arms are capable of, that the shocks are limiting.

Good day. Was a cluster getting out there this morning, a learning curve since I was unfamiliar with the 80 (and it's a whole different animal than the FJC I am used to.....in a kick ass way), and damaged nothing but a bumper corner. Plus, my son had an ear to ear grin from the onset, until he passed out in the car on the way home.

Video will have y'all rolling on the ground. Will try to post once akirilo sends.

Story behind. Had a couple whose buggy had ran out of propane in the back seat, that we'd returned to camp for another, and we were on the way back to their buggy.

At the top of the run ( in the video ), the lady said "Well, I've sure never done that in leather before". She didn't think we'd make it.

Hahahaha.
