Looking good. Kinda stealth like.

It's a little darker bronze than the photo lets on. I think the sun washed it out with the terrible phone camera. I will see how closely I was able to match the wheels tomorrow. Lol

Hey Ryan I've got the untinted 92 glass I just pulled from mine in favor of factory tinted 97 glass. If pay to ship you can have it.

May I ask why they didn't just sand and spray the same matching black on that stupid gold flip up key thingy on the rear hatch???
It's infuriating me:mad:

That's awesome dude and I will definitely take you up on that!!

Haha, yeah I agree! But I am going to just shoot it black when I do the wiper arms. So crisis averted! Lol

Hmm well this might have been a bad idea. Lol! Seemed like a good one at the time....

I'm excited to see how far you take the weight reduction. Everuone wake in the 80 section shoulf learn from that... Overland bro! Thousands of pounds of steel bumpers and s*** bro!

Right now I can guarantee it is under 4500lbs. haha. It was 4620 with the sunroof, sliding rear windows, and interior right now that is all gone.

It will still be 2 tons no matter what you do!

Oh yeah for sure, I will never get it below 4000lbs. My original goal as stated on the first page was below 4500lbs and 850hp. I am going to be close, we will see. I still have quite a bit of stuff to remove. The next heaviest item will be the stock exhaust, with it's 2 cats, big muffler, and resonator.

Just for reference:
Jeep SRT8 - 5150lbs
Porsche Cayenne Turbo - 4817lbs
Range Rover Sport SC - 5093lbs
Charger Hellcat - 4575lbs
MB G63 AMG - 5963lbs
MB GL63 - 5812lbs
Audi SQ5 - 4442lbs
Porche Macan Turbo - 4244lbs

SO except for the little Porsche Macan Turbo I should be lighter than any other "performance SUV" haha.

Are you going to keep the a343f? With the motec how will you control the trans? It will be standalone fuel and yyou'llsplice it into the ecu that it controls the tranny?

Nope A343F has no place in this build anymore.

What transmission are you going to run? I reada bit into the thread where you were working with a shop to build you an a343f?

Yeah I just don't trust it to hold the kind of power I want. It will be a TH400 with the ATI 1FZ-TH400 bellhousing and converters, etc. To get around the lack of overdrive, there are 10% overdrive transfercase gears or 3.73 and 3.55 diff gears.

I gotcha, how is the length on that th400 compared to the 343 and how will you mate the hf2av with the th400? Good stuff here. I have been acquiring parts for a personal build and on the fence about some big items. I really enjoyed your last turbo build
