Formerly a '92 owner, I just bought this rig as-is from another Mud member...with the exception of the Slee Drag Link that turned into a pretzel last weekend. I will not own another type of 4x4 for off-roading...EVER.

Truck is used for daily driving, expedition, and go anywhere wheeler

I just purchased a 1994 LC, its on 35s with an old man emu lift, not sure of the size. It has some home made armor on it and used to belong to someone in Texas, it still has the IH8MUD sticker on the back window, and I would love to know if anyone recognizes it. It was pretty much the same way it looks now as then. It also has a Longfield sticker on the back window and I was hoping to find out if the axles came with the sticker??? Well, I have been a longtime wheeler of Jeeps, Broncos, and other vehicles, this is my first LC, and I am excited about it. If anyone recognizes this rig let know by PM or post.

Thanks, love the site.

1992 Fj 80

Purchased it 6 months ago and I love the beast. No mods, just in the process of fixing the issues with it. Blew the tranny at 196k after driving it fir only 2 months. Platformed the back so I can fit a full sized air mattress for some beach fishing, which is how I plan to use it. Including the cost of the car, i am now 8 k into it. I hope the bleeding stops soon lol. Leaks oil possibly from rear main seal - will be another big job.

Jason wasn't joking! You do have a large ih8mud decal on ur truck! HA!

5. Came with fenders removed & rhino lined in their place. Manik Brush Guard, Pioneer bluetooth audio system, with 4 10" pioneer speakers, 2 tweeters, and a 12" sub. Started adding more mods myself, will update with the progress.
6. Used as a DD and beach buggy

Always wanted on of these guys so when I came across this one on Craigslist for 3k I jumped on it and ditched my 06 Double Cab XSP Tundra that I had bought brand new, and never loked back. I'm hooked. Love it. An army mechanic was the previous owner and took good care of it. Sounds like a tank, hence the name, and there ar a few things that need work, but what do you expect from a 21 year old car that now has over 250k? This forum has been an invaluable resource already, so a big thanks for al the awesome people who contribute here.

6. My daily driver and camping and wheeling rig.
7. Don't let the Georgia plate fool you. I live in the Adirondack Park in upstate NY.

I owned an FJ CRuiser until I saw this on a dealers lot on my way to work one morning. I've always said this or a sixty series would be about the only thing that would make me get rid of the FJ. Everybody thought I was crazy but they don't understand. Too bad for them.

5. Most of the work so far has gone into getting her back into shape after being neglected by the PO. All mods so far: 'dipped the grille, back emblems and wheels, removed the running boards. Next up: replacing the blown out front speakers and maybe the head unit as well. Wish list: OME 2" and some BFGs and I'll be content. (who am I kidding, there will always be more to do...)
6. Daily driver (read: wallet siphon), dog hauler and weekend warrior.
7. The pictures are in order of her progression.
