Did you now a 60 series manual hood rod or most any toyota hood rod will fit an 80 series.

JDM made a Active Vacation model 80

80 Series front output studs (from a 100 series, or the rear of a 4Runner): 90114-10061 (M10)

80 Series rear output studs (from an FJ60/62/7x): 90114-11003 (M11)

4 each would be needed.
So my 60 series front output flange mated to the 80 DS doesn't have to look like this?:hmm:

Holy Crap that is so pretty compared to my original 23 year old link. I have to order this!! Thanks.

Did you know:

The 80 series through 1/1995 had versions for the U.S. market that had drum rears/semi-float rear axles and no ABS.

These trucks also had no lockers or viscous coupler in the transfer case (HF2A designation).

All 80 series trucks for the US market went to VC'ed transfer cases, full float rears, ABS, and rear discs in 1/1995.

Wouldn't that make it a HF2A (no V) designation? Isn't the HF1A the part-time unit?

Did you know that whenever someone types "DYK" I giggle and say "He said dick". Yes, I work at a middle school...

Did you know that your factory wiring harness, if you have a tailgate and hatch, also includes tubing for the barn door version rear window washer fluid? (Lower rear panels)
Wiring mods that require running a new wire (inside to outside with the factory harness and hole grommet) can take advantage of this by simply running the wire through the tubing with the help of electricians cable lube.

battery tray from earlier models fit later models for dual battery setups or a storage area, washer bottle relocation of course.

May have been mentioned, didn't read through all the posts. :flipoff2:

Where is that picture of Rick doing that?

:hmm:

masturbating to Toyota LandCruiser parts catalogues?

Oh....Sorry, wrong guy, but figured others were also.......

I ordered two of them yesterday ;)

DYK that 91-92 US spec 80 series had a CDL switch from the factory.

DYK that 91-92 US spec 80 series (and possibly 93-94 as well) had an alarm built into the dash clock which made it ideal for sleeping in (or taking a nap on your lunch break at work)
