DYK that 91-92 US spec cruisers came with a cap on top of the distributor to help make it more water proof

Did you know if the slip yoke on the front driveshaft seizes up , the cycling of the front diff up and down will cause the transfer case adapter to break! Ask me how I know. Grease is your friend!

battery tray from earlier models fit later models for dual battery setups or a storage area, washer bottle relocation of course.

May have been mentioned, didn't read through all the posts. :flipoff2:

So, does the 93-97 battery tray work as a second tray on the 91-92?

DYK that 91-92 US spec 80 series had a CDL switch from the factory.

DYK that 91-92 US spec 80 series (and possibly 93-94 as well) had an alarm built into the dash clock which made it ideal for sleeping in (or taking a nap on your lunch break at work)

The factory CDL switch is awesome! And the alarm built in to the dash clock is one of the coolest things in the world. Gimmicky as all get out in today's day and age but in 1992 that was handy as hell. I used to set it when I was traveling a lot for work and needed to take a nap on the side of the road.

yes if you remove the fan

Remove the fan? Permanently? Or just to install it? I'm removing all of my EGR stuff so I will have all the room in the world...

pretty sure the aux fan will need to go for the battery tray to fit. I've never had that fan in mine since I bought I so I cant say for sure though

That's the tumbler fan thing. Not the radiator fan. Correct?!

And did you know that rubber cap is unobtanium? :( I took mine off the last time I changed my distributor cap and it accidentally got thrown away. I always thought that was so cool.

@beno and @cruiserdan does this part exist any longer? My dealership says no. 19114-61040

DYK exhaust heat shields from a 93/94 will fit on 95-97 to go up and over the frame rail (non OEM exhaust replacement)?

93 definitely has the alarm clock AND the super useful stopwatch feature

I can't believe I am actually jealous about ANYTHING on a 93 :(

You're lucky you didn't say this about a 92! Dems fightin' words!! :)

Did you know the AC turns off at 227º? Did you know it turns back on again at 215º?
