stitching is finally done....reviewed today, some minor adjustments and it's all set. Meeting with the stitcher again tomorrow to discuss those.

Now, colors. http://www.kcheadwear.com is the brand I current have for the 40 caps, and I like those. Model on those is the 6210 (constructed brushed cotton twill velcro strap)

I'm considering a change to model 8070S...constructed distressed washed cotton twill with a fabric/buckle strap. Should have the same low comfortable profile.

If you REALLY hate my hat choice, comment quick. I'm planning to order 3 colors, 12 of each color. Stitching will either be silver or black (same as the existing 40 caps)

Respond in the POLL for color choices, you MAY choose more than one...

Not even sure what 'unconstructed' means exactly , but I liked the 2001 style ... and I think it is unconstructed . IAC , I tend to like low profile , light weight caps ... IOW's ones without any trace of squarishness . :D

Now will you people vote for Navy already !

see model 8150 at the site above....

(adding one Navy hat in for TYLER... ;p )

I'll raise you 150 ... go with the more solid coloured 8300 series .

I've got a couple of the spandex stretch/fitted jobs. I like 'em a lot. I can wear it backwards like the pimp that i am without getting a half moon burned spot on my dome. 3020 looks really nice.
Please no 5400 series. Those things are seriously [rainbow]

I must have missed the thread about the logo that will go on them. Pic, or link? Thanks - I'll need a couple.

8150 and i'm in.
Cheers,
Sean

I'll take one of the 6210's in khaki. Thanks :)

I REALLY like those high-profile six-panel "Trailer Trash" jobs that are part woll...............:flipoff2:

Does that count?

Oh, BTW, I am not kidding here, I DO like them. I hope that you guys are OK with my short-commings......:flipoff2:

If not, yer discount just went south for the winter...:D

3020 or 2001, I prefer a preformed visor. We use the nu-fit stretch fitted hats at work, they look very good and hold up quite well.

Make me one in Navy and I'll buy ASAP...just PM me that it's cool. If not, I'll still buy one, but down the line.

Good work.

I beleive the unconstructed do not have the little liner in the front behind the stitching.
I vote for whatever will fit my fat head. seriously the last batch wich a very king canuck donated to my cause fits a little high on the dome. then my better half stole it and I havent seen it since. FWIW I love the teq hats jason peters did. fits extremely well.

I like the 6800S or 6800T. I assume the logo is going to be the one up the top left corner? They might be cheaper hats, but I'm a fan of the plastic snap adj. instead of the buckle. Oh and I like the navy color! That's just my opinion, make the hat however you like and I'll buy one anyway!! Make Tyler one so he can put a Starbucks on each side and drink it with a straw!! LOL!!!

What image in the "top left corner"? That's a 40 series and the thread is the "80 series caps".

DougM

the upper left forum logo rotates Cruisers...right now, there is a 40, 55, 60, and 80 in the rotation....

80 will be stitched like this:

I, personally, never buy a cap that's not 'fitted' or the stretch fit style. I HATE (and I can't stress that enough) the open back "D" in most hats. The fitted or stretch style just look more polished, or finished.

The 8313 (contrasting stripe on skinny part of the bill) is nice... I have a couple like that now.

The problem with the fitted ones is there are two sizes....

and, when I order caps and "hope" they all sell, guessing sizes and colors for all the purchasers can create an ordering nightmare.

Once 'MUD reaches some major level (ie: on par with Budweiser or something) I'll likely stick with caps that are more "universal" in sizing.

8053 is a sharp cap tho...if only they had more color choices....

perhaps do the khaki ones like the 8053 with the contracting stripe, then the 8070S for a solid colors...

hhhmmmm
