I was really dreading this part because it seemed like a pain, but this puller kit made quick work of the bearing removal.

These gaskets are so miserable to clean off.

Thank you! I took it out just to re-seal everything, but it is basically the same amount of work to get the third member out. Thanks! I've wanted an FJ40 for a long time and thankfully I've finally been in a place where I could get one of my own. I've really been enjoying it so far. I'm getting ready to tackle all the leaks this winter with new gaskets and seals. I'm starting with my steering box rebuild this weekend and then it's on to dropping the transmission and transfer case.Thank you! Part 4 of the FJ40 project is live. I wasn't able to complete the entire knuckle rebuild in this video, but it should be all buttoned up by the next one.
Just about ready to start installing the lift.

Leaf springs are off. Time to hit all the hard to reach areas with rust reformer and steelit, before I can move onto re-assembly.

Thanks! Those are my Sunex 10 ton jack stands. Kind of pricey but they have paid themselves off on a few occasions.Those Frame Supports are the Cat's Meow. Looking good..!
